Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Dexter Replacement Master Cylinder Cap. This is going to replace the cap for your master cylinder on your Dexter Brake Right Brake Actuator. Because this is a direct replacement from Dexter you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original. You're not gonna have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that. Just to give you some extra reassurance, you can see that this is going to be approximately one and a half inches tall, just a little over inch and a half tall.
And then our thread diameter is going to be about one and 5/8 of an inch. This does have the O ring here to make sure you have a nice tight seal. And then you can see we've got that portion in the center there that's going to create a nice seal for us on our master cylinder. So that completes our look for today. This replaced the original cap. With the original brake fluid leaked when the trailer was towed, apparently from the wind across the vent holes.

These were taller than the stock caps on my Brakerite II, but they were easy to install and work. Probably best to just finger tighten them versus using a tool.

Does not fit under the plastic "cover" on my Titan Model 20, but this cap is much more sturdy than the original and fits great. Definitely an upgrade.
