Video Transcript for Hydrastar Brake Actuator HBA-BC Review
Today we're going to take a look at the Replacement Filler Cap for the HBA Series Hydrastar Actuators. Now this is a hard, black, plastic replacement filler cap. It fits on the Hydrastar HBA Series Actuators. Comes with the included rubber seal that goes in the cap, and this is the seal the cap to the filler tube opening on the actuator. This part is for a quantity of one. What I'm going to do now is try to zoom out a little and show you .. I happen to have, I pulled one of the Hydrastar HBA Series Actuators.
If you can see on the very top, this one is missing the cap. Here's the filler tube opening, right here where the break fluid goes in. You can see it's missing a cap, this part is the cap that we're just . You can see there's three tabs, you just lined it up here. Then you just push down and then turn it.
As you turn it those tabs will lock under each other and then it locks in, seals into places. Then to open it, just rotate it, pop it right off. Simple as that. That should do it for the review of the Replacement Filler Cap for the HBA Series Hydrastar Actuators.

Exact match for the master cylinder cap that came off my trailer, probably after I used it as a step and twisted it off. Great price too, for this OEM product. I had purchased one from an auto parts store as a temporary and that was almost $20 and it didn't even have a gasket

It does sound like a possible issue with a seal, the cap, or something could be blocking the flow of fluid at the fitting that connects to the brake lines. Fluid in the brake lines may not leak out anywhere unless enough pressure is in the lines. I would not rule out the brakes or a wheel cylinder. Check the backs of the wheels and tires for any evidence of leaking fluid which would indicate a bad wheel...
