Now this is going to replace the cap on the master cylinder of your Dexter Axle Model 10 and 20 Brake Actuators. And as I mentioned, and as you've no doubt already seen, this cap does include a diaphragm to prevent dust from entering into your master cylinder. And just to retrieve my ruler here, give you a quick measurement.
This measures right at 1.15 inches tall. Now this is the direct replacement from Dexter. So what that means for you is you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. Fit Titan model 10 reservoir perfectly.
Your customer service was impeccable, and Cathy was great help with my order. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong part. I do have a Titan model 10 actuator but the master cylinder cap didn’t fit. Maybe the previous owner changed out the master cylinder.
Fits perfectly and is better than the original. It's more durable. Definitely an upgrade. Original had a flat rim at the base and the octagon for installing and removing was fairly weak with a disc piece in the center for venting. Not the best design. This is better!
Hex top tends to separate from threaded portion in a steel master cylinder. The master cylinder threads rust causing the problem. I have been unable to find more durable/robust caps however. The price is definitely reasonable, but I have to buy backups because I never know if the cap will come apart when checking fluid level.
This plug was exactly what I needed to replace a damaged plug on my trailer surge brake. It was built a little better than original plug and functions perfectly.
I have an older Titian 20 brake actuator on my trailer. After demolishing the original cap trying to get it off, this replacement screwed right in and off easily and fit perfectly.
Excellent support from etrailer and Kyle. Ordered surge brake reservoir cap on Wednesday expecting it to arrive Saturday. Was not able to legally move boat without brakes. Not sure how he did it but the part arrived to our home Thursday morning. We are in Alaska.
I just received the replacement cap, and haven't attempted to install it yet. If it works, as the feedback provided by etrailer stated, I'm giving it 5 stars. If it doesn't, I'll be sending it back.

This was an exact replacement and works perfectly.
Replaces my original that could not be removed without damage. This is a better design since the bolt on top is wider so there is less chance of it snapping off as did the prior model.
