Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Blazer Magnet Mount Flashing Amber Warning Light Bar. Now this is a rotating amber warning light bar that'll alert other drivers or pedestrians in the presence of your service vehicle. Does offer 360 degrees of lighting, so it is ideal for towing, plowing, transportation, warehouse, and even agricultural applications. Basically, it's two reflectors that'll rotate around two halogen bulbs to create a flashing effect. Now I am gonna hook this up to some power to show you how the lights work and how bright they are.

First wanna go through a couple features, the halogen bulbs that are in here, they are very easy to replace. So if one happens to go out, you can just put a new bulb in there. It does use a bulb type of H1 55 watts at 12 volts. The lens on this is a nice tough, polycarbonate lens which is impact resistant, has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and moisture. The power cord right here, this will plug into your vehicle's 12 volt power outlet.

And if you notice on the plug here, it has an on and off switch, which is located on the power cord so that you can operate the light from inside your vehicle. Now the base on this, if we flip it over, you'll notice it uses non-scratch magnetic base here to secure it to your vehicle's roof. There's four two-inch diameter magnets here that'll let you quickly mount the light bar, reposition it or remove it for storage when not in use. If you don't want to use the magnets, you can also permanently mount this if you prefer. I did pull a piece of metal just to show you.

You can see it has a very strong pull to it. Same way on this side, the two over here. So it'll hold it on the side and even upside down, it holds it in any position. Now I am gonna plug this in. I happen to have a 12 volt socket here that we'll put our plug into, and once it's in there, you have your on and off switch so you'll notice I push it on and you can see how they rotate around the bulbs and they are amber.

I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the lights and then I'm gonna zoom out to actually show you from a distance, very bright flashing light. Go ahead and turn off, unplug it. The strobing flash pattern, it'll flash about 160 times per minute. Few dimensions on this, I wanna measure this for you. The cord, as you can see, comes with a long cord, it fully extends about 12 feet in length. The dimension on this, if we do the overall length and this end to this end, you can see is gonna be right at 17-3/8" long. If we do the width, which is this way, it's gonna be right at 7-3/16" wide. And then if we go the overall height when it's installed from the bottom to the highest point, you can see is gonna be right at about 5-5/8" tall.
