Today, we're going to take a look at the brake shoe with lining for the Dexter PQ style air brakes. This is designed to fit the 12 1/4-inch by 4-inch PQ style Dexter air brake. This is for a quantity of one brake shoe with the lining. Two of these per wheel are required. If you notice, the lining on this is riveted on, so the lining can be replaced on the shoe. When this is installed, this is the end that'll have the roller pin on it and this is the end that would have the anchor pin on it.
The measurement 12 1/4 by 4-inches, where they get that is when this one is installed with the other shoe on the top, the diameter from that lining to this lining would be 12 1/4-inches. Then the 4-inches would be the width of the lining on the shoe, there's your 4-inches. That should do it for the review on the brake show with lining for the Dexter PQ style air brakes.
