Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a tail light mounting box. This tail light mounting box helps protect your lights from the elements, road debris, and gravel. It can be bolted, or welded onto your truck or trailer. It is designed for mounting one six-inch oval light, and one two-inch round side light. Both lights are sold separately, and available at eTrailer.com. The lights would mount to this box using mounting grommets, which are also sold separately.
This is a black, powder coated, steel construction, very strong and durable, and rust and corrosion resistant.When it comes to the overall measurements of the unit, starting with the overall measurement going edge to edge this direction, we're looking at about 8 3/8 inch wides wide, by 3 3/4 tall. And the overall depth, that's front to back, gives us a measurement of about 3 1/4, maybe 3 3/16, right in that area. Now the cutout here on the front for a six-inch oval light, this measures 6 3/4 inches, by 2 1/2. And then this one right here has a diameter measurement, looks to be about 2 5/16 inches. That's gonna do it for today's look at the tail light mounting box..

Good quality and value. I decided to utilize these a little differently, I ended up cutting this in-half and welding one on each side of a utility trailer for rear taillighting. These made nice weld-on heavy duty trailer light boxes.

Worked out so good, I installed them on my brothers boat trailer and he loves them.wire connectors are sealed inside box. No more corrosion.
