After having these boxes on my trailer for a year they've held up really well and we're very easy to install. They were exactly what I was looking for and the price was right in my budget. These light boxes are of good solid construction. They are powder coated which is supposed to be better or tougher than paint. That being said, both of these lamp boxes have chips to bare steel out of the coating. One even has light surface rust formed so not really a fresh break to the coating. They were placed into their shipment packaging from the manufacturer this way as they were padded quite well by etrailer.com prior to shipment to my shop. The padding ensured there was no damage in transit so simple deduction places lack of quality control upon the manufacturer. This is not a problem in my application as they will be painted body color of the unit of which they will install, but to other's whom plan to use them as supplied, it would be a disappointment. I know etrailer.com would stand behind the product but as mentioned, it is "no issue" with my application.222548
