Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 1 1/2 inch long standard Torx trailer floor and wall liner screw. Now, this Torx flathead screw makes securing a wood floor to your trailer very quick and easy, and economical. Now, the Torx head size on this is a T30 size. The diameter of this screw is a 1/4 inch diameter.
If you notice, does has the tapered flathead that'll sit flush with the surface when it's installed. The end of the screw right down here has a type F blunt tip. And that type F has a multiple cutting surfaces, so it's designed for heavy-gauge sheet metal, aluminum, cast iron and zinc. It does require a 7/32 size pilot hole to get it started, and then you just put the screw in there and tighten it down. Again, the diameter is quarter of an inch.
And the overall length on this from one end to the other is gonna be right at 1 1/2 inches. But that should do it for the review on the 1 1/2 inch long standard Torx trailer floor and wall liner screw..

- Mounting Hardware and Spacing when Installing 3 Inch Wide Continuous Steel HingeCustomers have used screw # TFX150 with matching bit # TX430-1 for wood. Self-tapping machine screws would work for metal surfaces in a size the same as or close to # TFX150. There isn't a set amount you have to use. Three would be the minimum. One on each end and one in the center. Five would be better. It all depends on the application. I would start with 5 placed evenly apart and see if that is going to work and then go from there.

It uses a T25 bit like part # TX425. We do have the Long Black Torx Wall Liner Screws available in 1-1/2" long part # TFX150, 2-1/4" long part # TFX225, and 2-1/2" long part # TFX250 but these use a T30 bit like part # TX430-1.

It worked great for us. We had 3 vehicles to get from point A to point B and only 2 drivers. The etrailer tie-downs worked great in towing our car in our cargo trailer. Havent had to use it since, tho.from point A to point B and only 2 drivers.
