The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
Recessed-mount trailer lights install with a grommet, which is often sold separately. These lights extend past the trailer surface and require a hole for installation. If replacing a light, you can utilize the pre-existing hole. If installing a new light, you will need to cut a hole or use a mounting bracket (sold separately) to complete the installation.

Exactly what I needed, perfect upgrade for my old incandescent tails. Plug and play
It was slightly smaller then my old one but the new grommet fit inside the old one and the light fit inside that. Done.
One light had black scuff marks on it due to packaging, the 2 lights were shipped with no protective wrapping or packaging along with the battery was loose and no wrapping so the battery rubbed the light leaving black scuff marks.
Our order came quickly and was just what we needed. This is not our first order , this is a great company and a pleasure to order from

These lights are on our boat trailer and are still working after a year and being submerged several times

The lights work really great. Everything i expected. Solved my hyper blink proablem. now i need a die to cut two more oval holes in my headache rack to install some white led back-up lights.
Exactly what I was looking for and the shipping was fast. The way things should be done.
Bought these to replace the stock lights on my Haulmark car trailer and they are a big improvement. Much brighter and the install was really simple.

Here is the pigtail that matches this light, item # A45PB. Here is the kit that includes everything if needed, item # 3375626157. It is nice to have the option to just purchase the light if your pigtail wires are still in good condition.
I recently ordered a pair of PVC grommets and tail lights for one of our trailers. The items arrived fairly quickly, and were packaged well. All of the items fit as advertised, and work as good as the original equipment. I will definitely be using etrailer again.
These lights are sweet. They do not have the etrailer sticker on them if that discourages you. Now that these are installed I kinda want to replace all of the other lights to LEDs.
Very happy with the quality of Optronics LED trailer lights.
They seem to work well but do not fit as snug as the ones I replaced. I will add to my review after I take my horse trailer on very bumpy mountain roads and find out if they are going to stay put.
The lights are good and standard size, but they seem to have a slightly off plug receptical. I ordered 6 of them and all seemed to be the same. I had to bend my connectors with a pliers a little bit to get them plugged in.
This is made from good materials and should last me many years of service on my utility trailer. The life-span will depend on how much winter trailering I do as the road salt used up here in Ontario, gets into everything.

Bright and durable,simple installation. Would benefit from longer wires as any product would.
I was able to replace my old lights with these new ones with absolutely no problem
These lights are so much brighter LED is the only way to go
I replaced my 24 diode lights from the same manufacture because they leaked but didn't fail. You cant open these lights so if you do get water in them like I did, you cant get it out so eventually they would have failed. Lets see how these 6 diode lights do.

easy plug and play for a burned out light i needed to replace. Easy install and fast shipping to get me back on the road with lights
its ok for short equipment but not cars or longer equipment.
if you put a boom lift on it the tilt comes down very hard.
Replacement straight forward.
