Just what I was looking for. Wanted to carry a small Honda generator and skinny gas can. I tilted the "Y" shaped security bar away from the vehicle by putting more washer between it and the carrier. That moved the generator enough to fit in the skinny gas can.

Very good quality for different types of generators. Again, I would’ve gave it five stars if it wasn’t for the price. But it is very well quality.

Hello. The unit fits great. I installed it on the front hitch mount of my 2000 GMC K3500. I’m using it with the Craftsman 2500 generator using the top slot. The unit allows me to permanently install the generator out front and keep it secure. I have a campsite truck camper that does not have an onboard generator. The TorkLift lock and load was a great solution. I added a set of turnbuckles for a nice snug fit while traveling down the road.

The product came in a timely manner and everything went together perfectly. I’m using the tray to carry a Champion 2000 dual fuel inverter generator (see picture) and also purchased the Yakima swing hitch to incorporate in the set up. The generator is being used to power a portable 200 square foot Hisense A/C. I ran the truck down the highway and everything is solid. The only complaint I have is that there was a minor 1” mar inside the tray probably caused by other parts rubbing against the tray during shipping but wasn’t that big a deal to knock the rating down to 4 stars.

If you own one of the listed generators this maybe the perfect tray. If not and I did not you may have to make some minor modifications I did. The only issue I had was with the generator locked in place I could not plug in the RV as the front up right bracket was in the way. Since that bracket has holes in it, I simply enlarged the hole until my cable fit. Awesome gen tray I highly recommend it.

The Torklift fits the Honda EU 2000i perfectly and is great to be on the outside of my Class B van and avoid any gas fumes inside the cabin. Packaging was not as good as a good as ot should have been, however, the packaging areived in good condition. There was some of the fonish and a large corner scrape on the Torklift frane (heaviest part) and my guess was it was dmaged before packaging. Instead of returning it, I touched ip the finish to avoid andy rist issues down the road, but I would expect better handling and damage control from the seller, otherwise I would give the item 5 stars.

A few suggestions for TL:
Some of the parts appear to be useful only when using the Sidekick with a Spacedock on a Palomino truck camper bumper. It's a waste to include them for those of us with different applications.
The ability to mount the license plate bracket included with the Ecohitch front hitch would be nice.
A visual indicator such as the one included on the larger Lock and Load would be nice in order to avoid collisions.
A way to keep the adjustable strap from dropping to the ground when removing the top bar would be also be nice.
The rattle from the lock is horrible with the generator running in place. The Etrailer trick helps, but TL should do something about this. If you unlock the unit to avoid the rattle and make refueling easier, the generator can walk around until the exhaust begins burning the paint on the fixed strap. I may be fashioning a way to corral the generator feet to avoid this.

As described. Ordered the lock and load side kick, as we had no place to safely carry our honda generator in our Truck camper. The "Lock and Load Side Kick" solved that problem. It is sturdy, holds generator tightly and will not vibrate around. Sturdy heavy duty lock prevents theft. Good quality, solid construction. We mounted a reciever under the bumper of our truck camper, now we can take the generator only when we need to and remove the carrier when not in use.

It’s solidly built and very easy to assemble. However, the tray is too large for this generator. With the generator mounted there is 4” inches of space in front of and in back of it. They provide security bolts on the tray, but the generator doesn’t even cover them. Unscrew 4 nuts and bolts, and you can steal the generator. I’m chaining mine to the bumper. I have no doubt it will hold the generator securely on the road; but the tray is so oversized that if you grab the generator by the bottom and pull it towards you, it will come out if you pull hard enough. It would damage the generator; but what thief cares about a little damage? It seems like Torklift tried to make this carrier a “one size fits many”. For security purposes it needs to be resized to footprint of the generator

I didn’t do my homework. My 2200ie did not fit; it was a little too tall and barely fit length wise. A slight modification to the top bar allowed it to fit so it worked out. Shipping was super fast. The nuts/bolts/washers were just free floating in the box but they were all there.
