Very lightweight, perfect product for RV use. My only complaint is that the plastic corners are easy to break. Manufacturer needs to replace those with metal or throw in a couple of spare plastic corners.
Good quality product just as advertised on the video. Very light weight and strong. Fits the Jeep Wrangler perfectly and clears the back door and spare tire when open. I wrapped some electrical tape to the hitch insert to prevent the rack from moving and possibly making noise while driving. It adds a lot of cargo space. Exactly what I was looking for.

I haven't assembled the carrier yet but it was delivered very fast and looks like it will be exactly what I wanted to replace my old rusted heavy carrier. As always excellent service and quality of all the items I have ordered from etrailer over the years.

VERY happy with the quality of the aluminum cargo carrier. It replaces a smaller, steel one. The aluminum carrier is larger AND lighter. It feels solid, especially due to the steel mounting bar. As you can see from the attached photo, I have mounted trailer lights on it for safety. I purchased the lights from etrailer, made mounts of Baltic Birch plywood (mounted with stainless steel bolts) and installed channel for the wires under the inner lip of the carrier. Now I'm ready to hit the road with it!
Instructions were easy enough. Would have been nice to include a tool to use for attaching aluminium rach to steel frame. Didn't need the included wrench for the hitch pin. Also was pretty wiggly when done. A couple of self tapping screws firmed it up.
Just what we had in mind.

More suited to my needs than my previous wider and heavier shelf. Yet aluminum shelf has strong steel support. My shins appreciate the rounded corners and visibility design elements.
I have owned this trailer for a year now. It has stood the test of time. It is durable, lightweight, easy to install and remove. It is a little tricky to hook to with hooks, they can slide off, but with the right attachments, it's not too tough. It's gotten banged up and dented a bit, and the reflectors have fallen off, but I live in central Washington DC, where people ram into your car (or luggage carrier) when they park. This trailer has fared much better than my prior one.

Still using my same carrier two years later, its a little more banged up from others bumper-car parking, so i now store it in the rear cargo area of my minivan 12 town and country into which it JUST fits, so its a quick and easy install, remove and store. I still love this rack. If I ever replace it, it will be with the same one.
Very pleased overall. The size and weight work perfectly for me. This replaces an older etrailer steel hitch rack that weighed 51 pounds. Well made, although it did have a minor dent, that likely occurred at the factory during assembly. I wish someone would design an add on safety pole, that can be attached to the end of the rack and viewed in the rear view mirror.

Our Mazda 5 doesn't have a lot of spare room inside so this cargo rack was a must for last summer's camping road trip. Also purchased a water proof bag that sits on top the rack. Was concerned about the car's exhaust possibly melting the rubber bag so I made a heat shield modification to the cargo rack. The aluminum rack is very lightweight, wont rust away or ever need painting.
Paid for itself on the first trip. Camping costs way less than bed-bug hotels!
Nice, lightweight rack. Unlike some products, all I had to do was attach the steel tongue/frame assembly to the rack. I'm going to hook it into a custom made receiver on the back of my Trike. I removed the corner reflectors and added a trailer light kit to it because I was concerned the luggage bag that I'm attaching to the rack might block the tail lights a bit. The installation of the light kit was easy thanks to the lightweight aluminum rack.
We are very happy with our cargo carrier. Our jeep was too small for all of our camping gear and just needed a bit more space. This carrier is perfect to carry our ice chest, dry box and tent. It is lightweight and easy to connect the hitch. Our only suggestion is to add more places to hook bungee cords.
Lightest and most reasonably priced carrier found. Light weight was a critical consideration for our specific needs. Easy to assemble, fits well and was delivered exactly when promised.

Exactly what I had hoped for. Light weight, easy to handle and has done the job needdd.
Great product and fast shipping. Arrived in three days, well packaged and easy to put together. Took about 10 minutes with a 5 minute break. Fit perfect behind my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. Good ground clearance. Loaded it up and went on a 1,500 mile trip with zero issues. The aluminum carrier is also very light weight. Highly recommend.
Worked like a charm. Very sturdy and no issues. Recommend getting the anti-rattle hitch as that eliminated any rattling.
As advertized. Really enjoyed attention to service that the company provides. Great product and have recommended to others.
This is the second one of these I have bought. They are sturdy, simple, well engineered, very light and priced right compared to all the carriers out there.

Great! Two cross-country trips and still like new.
Easy to put together and lightweight like I need. etrailer always has good products
The carrier is exactly as described the measurements were just what they said in the add. The only complaint is that the bolts holding it together are very small. Will definitely be putting in Larger than provided bolts.

Great product have been hauling my treager smoker in it and it works perfectly very strong after larger bolts were installed.
The product was great and the service and delivery are excellent. The only slight problem was in the video where they made the process of attaching the receiver sound easier than it was. My brother helped me and we have all the tools needed and are good at that kinda of stuff. But some of the procedures were difficult.
Tough, and light weight. A bit difficult to put together, really, you need three hands. But , I searched for the lightest weight carrier at this size for my TT, this one fit the bill , couldn't really find any competitor at this weight at this price range. It's held up, this year I'm going to try putting 200 lbs on it instead of just 100lbs
My carrier arrived today in good order and in what I considered to be record time It was exactly as described and what I had expected The quality is good and at a fair price I must say that the customer service representative was great and assisting me to place this order
Items ordered arrive quickly and in good condition. Assembly was very easy. A few minor scratches on the steel structural part required paint touch-up. Works great for transporting a 21" lawnmower.
