Video Transcript for Review of LubriMatic Grease and Lubricants - White Lithium Grease - L11354

Hey, everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the LubriMatic white lithium grease. This is going to be a 14 ounce tube that will work for your grease guns that have that 14 ounce capacity, which is typically going to be your full size grease guns. Now white lithium grease is going to be great for a lot of different applications. Typically, the most common application for these is going to be on a fifth wheel trailer or a fifth wheel hitch. Since it's going to have that nice white color with zinc additive, it makes it easy to spot and make sure that everything is greased up and lubricated properly.Since it doesn't have any silicone in it, it can be used on plastic components without them being damaged, so you don't have to worry about any damage there.Pop off the cap. You can see inside we'll have that white lithium grease.

It's about the consistency of peanut butter. That's what that NLGI, or National Lubricating Grease Institute number two means. That two designation just means that it's a higher viscosity. Basically means it's just a thicker liquid. Number two is a pretty normal consistency for grease, so that's considered normal. The drop point for this is 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Again, does work with your grease gun, so whenever you put this in place, you'll want to remove the cap, pull the top off and put that in place. Probably want to put the pull that top off after you actually have it into your grease gun. Thread that in place and then you're good to go.If you need to pick up a grease gun, we have a lot of different options available here at etrailer.com. We also have this white lithium grease available in a 16 ounce tub, in a smaller three ounce TUBE for your mini grease guns, as well as in a spray form. So a couple of different options there for your application. That's going to do it for our look at the LubriMatic white lithium grease, 14 ounce cartridge..

Have used my mini grease gun for years but have had hard time finding the cartridges with white lithium grease (for steering system and MaxProp on our sailboat. Consequently had to refill empty cartridge from a pot of whit lithium... what a mess. Finally found at etrailer. They shipped the next day and arrived quickly. Appreciate good service and will definitely won't miss the mess of refilling cartridges this summer.

by:

This was one of the only places I could find white lithium grease in these small 3 ounce tubes for use in a mini grease gun. They work great and I will buy more when the need arises.

Excellent product I only wish they had free shipping and handling but for chemicals that's pretty much the norm anyways used it on my garage screw for my Genie garage door opener works perfectly thank you

Well I presume the actual product is good but it looks like it came from a storage room that hadn’t been touched in years. At least wipe it off before sending it to customers. It just looks bad.

  • Lock Sticking on Thule T2 Pro
If your key on your Thule T2 Pro # TH83JV is not turning I recommend that you works some lubricant like the LubriMatic White Lithium Grease # L11354 into the lock. This works to penetrate through any corrosion and loosen the locking mechanism and allow you to get the key to turn. I particularly like this product more than something like WD-40 because it's biobased, so it's non-toxic and safe to use around the house. If you continue to have issues with the lock core, it might be time to...

  • Why Is It Hard To Couple Up To A Fifth Wheel Trailer On Uneven Ground
Unfortunately this is the case with any fifth wheel hitch if your truck and trailer aren't on level ground. Uneven terrain can pinch the head a certain way making it hard to release the jaws of the hitch. You can try to adjust the stabilizers/landing gears on the trailer to help take the pressure off of the hitch head but it's not always going to be an easy task. The jaws of the hitch will typically need to be greased over time, which it sounds like you're already doing, otherwise they...

  • Troubleshooting Reese Sidewinder Pin Box that is Difficult to Move Arm
It probably wouldn't be a terrible idea to install the Sidewinder Repair Kit part # RP94316 on your Sidewinder as it sounds like it's seen better days and hasn't been maintained. Reese recommends that to maintain easy hookup you frequently lubricate the wedge surfaces, back side of the king pin, and the skid plate surface. The bearing surfaces of the Sidewinder arm can also be lubricated if stiff, using white lithium grease. At least once per season it's recommended you disassemble the...

  • Troubleshooting Hard Connect of Sidewinder on 2013 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel Trailer
There are several reasons why the trailer might be hard to connect to the 5th wheel hitch. First, make sure you are hooking up on level ground. This can be a big factor in ease of hook up. Next, if your sidewinder is pivoting at the 5th wheel hitch, you may be having an issue with the wedge. If you have a universal wedge you will need to get a hitch specific wedge. Next, check the lubrication of the 5th-wheel hitch. Make sure all of the recommended locations are lubed correctly and that...

There may be some dirt and debris interfering with the normal function of the tow bar. I would start by lubricating the arms, however lubricants like WD40 should not be used. Otherwise if you tightened the bolt too tight then it might be okay to back it off for 1/4 inch clearance. • How Do I Unlock the Sliding Mechanism on My Reese Square Tube Slider?
If you have a square version Reese slider like the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051, I confirmed with my contact at Reese that there could be an issue with the hitch not sitting squarely in the rails during installation. The best way forward is to loosen the rails and readjust it to be a proper fit so they are properly square. Also, when you try to unlock the lever, make sure to push the lever all the way to the stop. Try not to jerk on the lever if at all possible....

If there is any old grease you are going to want to clean off the old grease and apply new grease. I have also attached a couple of instructional images for you to reference as well.

It all depends on how stiff or firm the soft hull is. If there is too much give then the material could get pinched in the rollers # DL21741. Keep the shaft the rollers spin on well lubricated with some LubriMatic White Lithium grease in 14 oz. Cartiridges # LM54FR or in 3 oz Cartridges #L11358.
