Today we're going to review part number C16722. This is the Curt Lube Plate for 5th wheel trailer hitches. This one's 12 inches in diameter. This will prevent scratches on your 5th wheel hitch's skid plate. This allows your kingpin on your trailer to slide into the hitch very easily. There's no need for any messy grease to be applied to your 5th wheel hitch head.
It installs very easily. You just slip it over the kingpin. I have an example here of a kingpin that would be on your pin box of your 5th wheel trailer. Just slip it right over that and then when this installs or slides into your 5th wheel hitch head, you can see it will give you the lubrication and the protection between your trailer's pin box and the 5th wheel hitch head on your truck. A few dimensions on this; again the overall diameter on this is 12 inches, and the thickness on it is 3/16th's of an inch. If you notice this one also has the special self cleaning grooves that go all the way around the lube plate itself.

Amazing product. Never get yourself covered in grease while hooking up your 5th wheel. This product enables the King Pin to smoothly glide into the hitch.
Easy to read and install. Just received it although it covers my safety chain brackets, should be a easy fit!

Works great. No need for grease any more. Also took up the play in the king pin so there’s no more clunking due to vertical pin movement while driving down the road. Previous lube plate lasted 3 years.

Still holding up well after a year.
Haven't used this yet as I just received it. The only question I have is does it make a difference which side is up because, like other lube plates, it is not marked.
My rating is based on the fact that it is a Curt Product and if it does not work out I will resubmit my review

Great little product. I use it with a chain hoist to install or remove mu Curt 20k 5th Hitch.
I have only towed my 5th wheel twice with it but. it works great. it is showing very little wear and did not interfere at all with hooking and unhooking.

After a year it still works, can hardly see any wear and tear
I purchased this product not knowing that the fifth wheel hitch already comes with one. I have not yet used this product. The lube plate that came with the hitch is not slotted as is this one and is 10" diameter as compared to this product that is 12'' diameter. Not worth the hassle of sending back. I hope to provide a review for this product after it is put through some use.
I only use these lube disks. Once placed onto the kingpin, you never have to worry about lubrication again. Hands down over the traditional greasing of the 5th wheel saddle. No more grease dropping into the truck bed and making a mess. Excellent product. Highly recommend.
Like the simplicity and security of the design. Easy to install and seems like it will be easy to use and make towing much easier. Will find out next weekend if it does not perform as expected I will update my review.
Works as advertised. No more messy lubs........ At least on the 5th wheel hitch
I have used this for a year now. Honestly I can’t tell a difference between this one and the solid ones. It does what it’s supposed to do. I pulling a 42’ toy hauler with about 3000lbs on the pin.

Still working like new.
Delivery was fast the packaging was bad not heavy enough cartoon for parts to be sent in. It was all broke apart by the time it got to me. . No parts where missing though, Thank god. Brackets were little scratched up, we touched them up a little with black paint. I would rate the service at a 4 though. BETTER PACKING NEXT TIME
This lube plate works great and holds onto the king pin.
Very good product at a fair price. Etrailer is my go place.

Product fits over the lower end of the king pin fine but some hand trimming was required to go over the upper portion and seat correctly.
Product works great. I am glad we do not need grease for the fifth wheel hitch. It was delivered quickly after the order.
It's big enough to cover the footprint of our hitch. And it does not seem to fall off like some of the other models I've tried after you unhitched
I called and spoke to a rep on the phone. He talked me through what would be good for my set up and gave me a few options. I placed my ordered and it arrived in 3 days. Product was as described and happy with everything so far.
Another excellent product from etrailer. Already used it once and it worked great. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my towing needs.
Used this ring comercially for a year. It has served well. And is still not worn out.

This is actually my second one, I accidentally left the ist on on someones pin plate. Oops. I sure dont have have any problems with this product.doesnt show much ware after continuous use.

This simple, inexpensive product is the real deal. Allows Easy, smooth 5th wheel hook ups. The plate is tough. I bought 2 just in case but the one we originally installed is still going strong. Save the mess of greasing your receiver. You’ll be glad you did.
