If you want to expand your solar setup to collect more sunlight and charge your batteries faster, this solar panel expansion will add more amperage to your charging output. This kit includes a single 200-watt solar panel with mounting hardware that connects to your existing Go Power system using the included MC4 branch connectors.

High-Efficiency, Monocrystalline Solar Panel

solar cells

The silicon cells are set between a cushioned backing material and tempered solar glass to withstand the elements. The glass has low-iron content to provide exceptional transparency, which ensures maximum sunlight collection. The panel is framed with anodized marine-grade aluminum to resist rust and corrosion. And in optimal sunlight conditions, the panel produces 200 watts per hour.

Easy Connection to Go Power Solar Charging Systems

mc4 connectors

This kit is compatible with several Go Power Solar Charging Systems (sold separately). However, the total amount of amps generated by the panels cannot exceed your solar controller's maximum amperage. The solar panel installs anywhere on your RV roof with included mounting feet and hardware. To maximize sunlight collection, it is important to install the panel where it avoids shadows cast by objects, like an air conditioner or vent. The panel is wired in parallel to another panel using MC4 branch connectors.

My RV came with one of these panels pre-installed. I wanted to double the solar, so I purchased this expansion kit. Kit arrived in a couple of days and was packed well! It was easier than I expected. It took less than a minute to connect all the wires (snap in and positive and negative are different connector types so you can't screw it up). 8 screws later and it was done. Highly recommend.

by:

Fast delivery product as advertised. I had to fabricate my own mounts. The mounts provided would not fit the 8020 channels On my Ram Promaster.

by:

When I received the solar panel one end of the box had been opened and resealed with tape. I have opened the box and it all looks fine with the panel and one plastic bag with parts and manual. It will be several weeks before I can install it so will let you know then

by:

I think this is one of the best companies that I have dealt with. I recently received a damaged solar panel, called them and they immediately resolved the problem and later that same night I noticed they had already shipped out a new one.
The customer service is THE BEST!!

Highly recommended

Thank you

by:

Great addition to the solar that came pre-installed on our trailer. Easy install. May even add another.

by:

We added this panel as a 5th panel to our Go Power AE-4 solar kit to help maximize the solar window during the day. It was a perfect addition!

@RyanH That's great! We're glad to hear that...

by:

We haven't installed the solar panel yet, but the E-Trailer service was great. They had the lowest price, great 'Chat' service so we were able to ask questions and purchase the correct panel, free shipping, fast service and we were kept informed on the status all the way through!

by:

Great product, goes with solar installed from mfg.

by:

I installed 2 100 watt panels they seem to be doing okay I average 13.4 watts of battery power, I have two marine batteries in series I have a residential refrigerator and 12 volt lites all working off solar when needed

by:

Great product and delivered as promised! Easy install on our new Thor KM 24 class C motorhome.

by:

Arrived very fast and plugged right in to my 2020 Thor Motorhome prewired for solar.

by:

I recently purchased the Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit - 200 Watt Solar Panel from e-trailer to connect to a previously intalled 190 watt Go Power Overlander solar panel. Due to the configuration of my trailer, I was only able to mount the solar panel on the complete opposite side and end of my trailer. The installation was straightforward and without any issues. I give all the installation credit to the product video (Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit Review) by David C. All the purchased equipment; Go Power SC4 10' long output cables, the Butyl tape and self-leveling sealant work as designed. I have now increased my wattage and amps thus allowing me to camp "off-grid" for up to 5 or more days at a time. For anyone considering purchasing this Go Power 200 watt expansion kit, I would highly recommend it. Also, I would like to commed etrailer for their product videos and questions and answers section. I learned so much from these videos/forums that it gave me the confidence to install the solar panel when in the past, I would have had it installed by an RV dealer. Thanks for the outstanding customer service and the quality of products.

by:

Easy install and performs great!

by:

Very fast shipping and fulfillment and the best price I could find on this item. Great!

by:

Great price, fat shipping and arrived on good shape.

by:

Works as expected

by:

Nice unit easy to install. My first panel came damaged (shattered) as it was dropped on spomething in shipping. A quick question to etrailer had Brittany responding really fast, at 7pm, and a new panel on the way. Great customer service. Thanks etrailer and Brittany!

by:

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! WE ALWAYS GET THE PRODUCT FAST. THANK YOU

by:

Great service

by:

Perfect for what I needed. With the addition of 1 more panel I can stay out as long as I want with no electricity problem.

by:

Added it as my third panel on the roof of my toy hauler. It works great, the added power is amazing. The only down fall is that the cables are to short to connect all 3 panels, so I ordered the 10' extension cables and everything was plug & play. Went together easy and works great.
Put everything together with 4 Lion energy lithium batteries and a Go Power 2000 watt Inverter. Batteries never come off 100%

by:

Installed a 9 panel array on a customers Pinnacle 5th Wheel. Extreme is not a strong enough word for this setup. Wished we had known all the "extra" little parts we were going to need when we made the rather large purchase(s) from etrailer for this job. Needed higher output controllers based on the amount of solar panels we were using, still need a few more batteries. Overall, we hope our customer will be quite pleased with his extreme setup and has many hours of boondocking in his future.

by:

I love this kit and it is used to keep the coach battery charged and topped off. The panels are installed on the roof (second panel purchased). I also like the Bluetooth monitoring system that hooks to my cell phone. When I'm dry docking, it charges the battery back up after a night of running the Furnas (gas).

  • Can Solar Power Be Used For Powering a Gaming PC and Washer/Dryer On a Jayco Eagle RV?
While you could add enough solar power with the Solar Kit # 34282184, some additional Panels # 34282182 and Batteries # GP99QR. This is only typically going to provide enough power to run your smaller electronics and your PC. The larger appliances like a washer/dryer and air conditioner just draw so much power you would need to have a large battery bank with several batteries and a large solar array to provide enough power for everything. It is more reasonable to use a Generator # CH44FR...

  • Options For Adding Additional Solar Panels To Trailer With Go Power! 200 Watt Panel Installed
Most of the go power solar charge controllers do not have an SAE plug on the side wall for a portable panel, as most of the panels have their own charge controller, so you'll want to confirm that the side plug goes directly to the battery. For a panel option that's portable, which is what I think you mean by suitcase, we have the 130 watt # 34282730 which is a solid option for adding a little more charging capacity to your system as needed. • Installing Two 200W Solar Panels On A Thor RV With GP-PMW-10-SQ Controller
Hey Jeffrey thanks for your questions. Based on the specs I can find online, the GP-PMW-10-SQ controller is only capable of 190 watts, so you would not be able to simply replace the 100W panel with a 200W panel. It looks like you are on the right track though, because the Go Power MPPT Solar Charge Controller # GP72RR is going to be the correct replacement controller for this application.
