Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Bluetooth remote display for Go Power MPPT solar charge controllers. Now this Bluetooth-enabled display is going to let you monitor performance and adjust settings on your Go Power GP RVC MPPT series controllers. Now the Bluetooth function lets you monitor statistics and configure settings from your smartphone, and that's gonna require the free Go Power! Connect app. And the LCD display provides information on voltage, current and charge status. Now this is going to mount flush for a nice clean look.
And as you can see, you have your LCD screen. You do have your up button, your down button, your enter button, your back button. And then on the backside, you're gonna have your RJ12 connectors. Now this is going to include the trim piece that you will install over this display once you have it installed. So you can see that, again, it's gonna have a nice clean look when you have this installed and that trim over it.
And it's also going to come with two mounting screws and then a roll of RJ12 cable, and then a quick start guide. Now let me give you some overall measurements here. I'm going to turn this on the back side, it's gonna be a little bit easier here to measure with. So the overall length of this display, we're gonna be sitting right at 4 and about 3/8 inches long. And by the way, the distance between those mounting holes, according to the instruction manual, they report that it is at 4.1 inches, the distance between those mounting holes.
Looking at the width, we're sitting right at about 2 1/2 inches wide. And then in regards to the thickness, I'm gonna lay it on its face and include this connector, we're gonna be sitting right at about an inch and 1/4 thick. Now with the trim piece, this is going to measure 4 1/2 inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide, with that trim piece. Now an external power supply is not required and this does have a five year limited warranty. Mounts flush for a clean look.Overall very good. However the tracking was very poor. It's showed that the package was in customs in NY for over 2 week. When in fact the next day it was delivered to BC. I guess it's not their fault as it wasn't scanned at every location. I would definitely use them again. Good customer service.
E-Trailer kept in touch throughout my whole purchase process from order to my receiving it today 2-3-22. Excellent customer service. GP remote came well packaged and on time. Remote not yet installed, will update.
This gives you the on screen and Bluetooth Control needed to understand your solar panels. This is a product I’d recommend and would purchase again.
