Solar Panel Needed for 2021 Travel Trailer with Pre-Wired Solar Panel Setup
Question:
I have a 2021 rockwood with pre wired solar setup. Which solar kit do I need to buy? I would like to get the most power with the equipment already installed.

Your 2021 Rockwood should be pre-wired to work with a Go Power solar panel setup, so it should already have a controller. This means that you should only need solar panels and the connectors to hook them up to the pre-existing wiring socket on your trailer. The Go Power Overlander Expansion Kit # 34282182 has the connectors that you need to accomplish this - you just need to determine how many solar panels you want to use.
The panel has connectors that allow you to connect 2 panels together but if you want to connect 3 of them then you need the MC4 Expansion Branches # GP22VR and # GP82VR as well as some MC4 extension cables. You'll want to plan out the layout of your solar panels and choose the wiring that best suits your needs. I've linked our selection of cables for you to filter through.
Attached is a sample video showing how to link the solar panels together.
