by:

Quick shipping. Item installed and is working well. Excellent communication from etrailer.

I was smelling propane out side our RV for a couple of weeks. I diagnosed the smell to the regulator where the vent was leaking. Ordered a new one and replaced, problem solved.

The regulator continues to operate as I would expect it to. Once replaced I have not had any propane related issues with odor or pressure.

@Ron We're glad to hear that!

by:

Used to operate propane heater in a van, no complaints.

by:

Easy to install, 10.48" water out of the box on my gauge which is ok.

by:

Good product for off grid cabin stove. First regulator was defective. Exchange was seamless and e-trailer could not have been more helpful. Great customer service. I highly recommend the company and will be using for any future needs.

by:

I wasn't excited to be replacing the LP regulator on a two year old RV with one exactly like the one that had failed. That said, etrailer made it all very easy. Good people to deal with.

by:

Exact product I was looking for fast de livery

by:

Works well, nothing special

by:

Easy install. Has not failed us during one year of service. Highly recommend.

by:

Works like a.charm! Exact replacement for a Marshall 260. Even used the same mounting screws. All hookups are standard. Order process was a breeze. Great service and fair price. Highly recommended!

Works like a charm even in hard MN winters! Very pleased with the ease and simplicity of the entire process and install. etrailer.com is the place to shop!

by:

Product has worked well for our needs. eTrailer was fast to ship and updated us along the way. Great all around.

by:

This was a replacement regulator on a 2017 Forest River RPod; the original one was leaking and very corroded. This one has been working perfectly for a full year now.

by:

Works great!

by:

I Rose G should get the employee of the year award, and a big fat raise, She is Outstanding in Her position!

by:

I feel this propane regulator is only average at best in quality. This same regulator came new with my new motor home and only lasted three years before the first stage developed a leak through the vent hole. Camping 50 years of my life, I never had a propane regulator fail over the years till now. So now I carry a spare.

The new replacement regulator has been installed 10-months and has been used three weeks over that time with no problems.

by:

The regulator fit in the same place as the older one i had in my RV. I installed this evening and fired the fridge up. It is working as it should.
The reason for the 4 stars is the delivery. it is not E-trailers fault, but the postal service had it for 3 days before was put in my po box.

I have bought from e-trailer before and their service is outstanding.

The regulator is working great. Would buy again.

by:

Perfect. It's an exact match to what I need to get my camper propane system up and running.

by:

It has been working for a year now, with no issues. We are using this pressure regulator to provide gas to our tiny house from a 100# tank. It supplies our apartment-sized cook stove, plus the 180k btu/he tankless water heater. So far, no issues! We are using it with a 12ft. for hose from the tank to the regulator. (With a fitting to adapt it). Regulator, hose and fitting came from etrailer.)

by:

MB Sturgis is a quality OEM part on many RVs and the price is right.

by:

7 degrees Fahrenheit and working well.

by:

One year out from install and working g ood!

by:

I'm using this to supply a 3 hp generator. It works perfectly. I'm sure it would supply a much larger engine since the supply valve to the carburetor is nearly closed when the engine is at full speed. Great product!

Still working well

by:

I just installed this regulator in May, 2018 to replace a failed CAMCO regulator. I have had 4 Camco regulators on a 2015 Camper and they either leak or won't let gas through. The installation of this Sturgis regulator was fairly easy and it works great now and hopefully for a long time.

by:

This one is a two-piece unit that tends to leak propane. I wouldn't recommend it.

  • Will MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator Work With Class B Motorhome
The MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221 is an excellent choice for a propane regulator! This works directly with your propane pigtail if you have a 1/4" Male NPT fitting. If you have the inverted fitting then you'll need the Adapter # 37207-30035 for the inlet side of the regulator.

  • Will MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator Replace Model 290 Regulator
Yes it will; your Model 290 is a 2-stage regulator that reduces pressure to 11" WC (water column, which is the standard pressure rating), just like the MB Sturgis regulator. It even has the same inlet and outlet sizes so it will be a perfect replacement and is the following part number: - MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221

  • Correct Regulator For Vintage Avion Trailer With Dual Horizontal Tanks
Thank you for your photo John. Normally a horizontal tank like an ASME tank would require a horizontal regulator like part # 108221. The dual tank setup on your Avion will need a vertical regulator with automatic changeover part # 37207-31525. As long as the vent is facing down it will work well for you.

  • Regulator Similar to Camco CAM59323 with Good Reviews
There are a couple reviews of the Camco regulator part # CAM59323 that you referenced that indicate the regulator failed after a few months/less than a year. For as many as we've sold I would not anticipate that being the case for you or anyone else but for a similar regulator that doesn't have any failures mentioned in the reviews the MB Sturgis part # 108221 would be a great option. This is also a dual stage, horizontal regulator.

Yes, but the orientation of how the regulator is mounted will matter because the vents on the regulator will need to always be facing down to prevent them from getting clogged. If you plan on mounting the regulator horizontally or vertically you'll need to choose the corresponding regulator. • Troubleshooting Regulator Vent Leak and Regulator Replacement
There are a couple things you can try to narrow down your issue and find the correct option to fix it. First, you can make a mixture of dish soap and water, generously apply the mixture to your regulator. With all flames shut off, open your tanks and look for leaks. The soap/water mixture will bubble. Since you said that the leak didn't start until you changed your propane tank you may have a propane tank that was overfilled. Which is causing too much pressure and causing the regulator...

The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR has a maximum inlet pressure of 13" WC so your 16" water column is too much for the unit to handle. Your trailer's regulator needs to be readjusted by a qualified technician or replaced to get your pressure back down to an acceptable level. You would just need to attach the MB Sturgis Full Flow Propane Tank Connector Fitting - Soft Nose POL x 1/4" MPT # 204037-MBS to the 1/4" Female NPT inlet on the regulator to be able to connect to your 100lb tank. • What Propane Pressure/Regulator is Needed For a Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater
The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR does not require its own specific propane regulator. The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR uses the already regulated propane that is entering the RV and needs a water column pressure of between 8-13, which you will get from a regulator like the MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221.

  • Do RVs Use High or Low Pressure Regulators
Most RV propane accessories are actually low pressure and not high pressure like the # 108072 you referenced. This regulator has an 11" WC rating and we have confirmed with the folks at Champion that this is an acceptable rating for a replacement. The max BTU is 400,000 so more than enough for your generator.
