    • No need to break up camp to go refill your onboard ASME tank
  • POL fittings install in-line between your tank valve and pigtail to your pressure regulator

  • Shut-off levers on quick-disconnect ports allow you to easily shut off gas supply
    • Ball valve prevents disconnection when lever is in the "on" position to keep gas contained

Fitting Diagram

Make camping more fun and relaxing. Moving your RV once you've gotten settled at the campsite is a real chore. No one wants to have to pack up, unplug, and go refill the propane tank, just to come back to the site and set everything up all over again. This Sturgi-Stay T-fitting lets you connect an auxiliary cylinder to your setup using the included fill hose. As a result, you can run your appliances from the propane in your cylinder rather than using up the LP gas from your RV's tank. When you run out, just refill the auxiliary cylinder and hook it up again.

Quick Disconnect Ports

QDs

The Sturgi-Stay features 2 quick-disconnect ports. The first port connects to the included fill hose from the auxiliary cylinder. The other port provides a connection point for a small, portable appliance or propane tree, via the included adapter hose. This way you can power a grill, heater, or other accessory without needing to use a 1-lb throwaway cylinder.

Both quick-disconnect ports let you connect and disconnect the included hoses without any tools. Simply snap the quick-disconnect hoses into the ports and they will stay locked in until you release them. To remove the hoses, just pull back on the collars of the ports. The ports also feature gas shut-off levers that allow you to completely cut off the propane supply to that port to keep gas contained when no hose is attached. Be sure to move the lever to the "off" position before disconnecting the hose.

The MB Sturgis parts worked exactly as advertised. As info, the propane tank compartment in our 1985 Coachmen is very tight, so we did need to replace pipes, fittings, and hoses to make it fit.

by:

The total package, far better than others on the market. Includes the 2 hoses needed, 1 for your grill, 1 for your portable tank. A quality fitting that includes a quarter turn shutoff and quick couple on each branch. Shutoff relieves the pressure for connecting hoses and when the valve is then opened, it locks the coupler. Easy installation, I added a 4”x4” piece of plate steel to extend the mounting surface for the plastic regulator housing to attach to. This should help to reduce any strain the fittings. I had an issue with one of the included hoses. It appeared to be a defective nipple on one end that kept it from slipping into the coupler. One quick email and I had a replacement in just a couple days. “Thanks Carol and Hanna, you guys are great”

by:

Great product providing flexibility for use of on board propane and accessories. Eliminates the need for a low pressure bbq.

by:

the hardware fittings worked fine; the hose for some reason would not allow adequate flow of propane to the regulated appliance. I purchased another hose and it works now.

I hate when that happens. I just wanted to make sure you are not running the propane through 2 regulators. You do not want your propane to be double regulated because it is going to cause you to not have enough gas pressure for your appliances to work properly. Basically if the appliance you are using the T-fitting to run to has its own built in regulatorwhich is common, you will want the T-fitting prior to the regulator.

As always fast service, items arrived as promised. Especially thankful this time for the ability to purchase a single replacement snap pad. Despite the manufacturers promise that they never fall off we lost one on our last 2500 mile trip where we stayed on level pads in commercial campgrounds. We think it might have been a manufacturing flaw since the other three are in place and firm, but with the pad lost we really don't know what the root cause was. Irritating was that Amazon and their supplier did not understand the problem and wanted us to return the "complete" item and they were not able to sell us a replacement pad and offered us a 20$ refund. etrailer to the rescue. Thanks. We will make sure that we look at etrailer first in the future.

still working great, staying put. We have used the rig on a 2 week trip and used the jacks on gravel, dirt and blacktop. No problems with the pads whatsoever and very convenient not having to crawl under the rig to place regular pads. This is a great product and we probably got a bad pad in the first delivery. The first seller just did not have the customer service. Good product, bad seller still equals to bad experience. Thanks again to eTrailer and their more than stellar customer service. Be aware that when you buy from Amazon, most likely they have no clue what they are selling and when you have a problem you are on your own. Thanks etrailer!!!

one of the best products I have purchased for my RV. Using it now, as I write, Allowing my main tank to be shut off, instead relying upon a small portable tank that can be exchanged nearly everywhere....2nd hose allows for any propane item that has its on regular to be attached to the RV' main tank or the portable as it is being used of other purposes....And my RV has a measured "after the standard regulator" port for a BAR B Q pit that came with the RV....and I still find great value with the accessory I purchased that had\s 2 ports and hoses!

Its great, would buy again but sooner.

by:

This Kit was a breeze to install. Standard propane fittings.
On my Class C motor home I had to extend the guard plate to protect the regulator since the kit move it out further and exposed to road debris.
Now if I get low/run out of propane, I can just connect 20/30 pound cylinders with the quick connects.

We keep the RV in the mountains in the winter and this allows me to refill my LP without moving my RV. I highly recommend it.

by:

This very cool device is going to be used on a 2021 Integra odyssey 24 B motorhome. My wife and I are very familiar with going to the state parks in North Carolina, and by the way we have some excellent state parks in North Carolina, but we’re exploring the possibility of doing more Boondocking. I believe this device will come in very handy on those days when a little extra gas might be needed. I am impressed with the fact that this kit comes with everything you need to install it in your main gas line, hook up an outside propane cylinder for additional fuel, and allows you a hose so that certain gas operated heating devices can be attached to the system directly. Ordering was easy and shipping was prompt. Couldn’t ask for more. Well done.

by:

We needed a way to use a portable propane tank with our motorhome so we didn’t have to break down and move when we ran out of the onboard tank. Bought one but the fittings were right. This one works with what was on our 1999 Winnebago Brave. The short hose will connect to our portable tank but the longer hose fittings will not work with our grill or stove, so that part is a waste. However the quick connect fittings are a nice feature.

by:

No problem with installation of the product. Locaton is not perfect for access to the hose fittings in my RV. Needed to make bracket to hole the regulator after it moved.

by:

Worked great without any issues or conc erns.

by:

Great product. Three-minute installation. The quick-release fittings are the cat's meow. So much nicer design that other brands of "long-stay" LP kits.

by:

Product is great service is great. I had a problem with shipping. I paid $20.00 for 3 day shipping to get it here by the 24th but didn't get it until the 28th.That is on UPS not your company.

by:

I am very happy with this kit. Our motor home has a permanently mounted propane tank. This kit allows me to connect a portable propane cylinder to my motor home. We will be staying at a ranch for the next several months. They supply 100 lb. cylinders. This saves me from having to move the whole house every time I need to refill the propane tank. Installation was simple.

by:

Absolutely love this... I can leave my rv parked and take my external propane tanks to fill and no wrench needed to hook back up.

by:

Thank you for the good service. I am glad you handled American made product! It was very important to me. We all need to try to buy American.

by:

a very good product for a reasonable price. protects my chrome mirrors and camera's at all times during RV down time. Also protects the wipers. Easy to install and remove and store.

by:

Product worked great. Took about 20 minutes to install. No issues at all. I need a longer hose, but that is in my.

  • Recommendation for Adding a 3rd and 4th Propane Tank to Fifth Wheel Trailer
Chaining 4 tanks together is not recommended. I instead would use two separate systems an you will want to make sure the two additional tanks can also sit upright and have proper ventilation. You can use base # 37207-31535 for both or # CAM57236 for each. Then for the two tanks use the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005. The hose coming from the regulator could be a quick connect like # CAM59853 to make changing between the 2 tank systems...

  • Measure Level of Propane in two 120-pound Propane Tanks
There are several methods to try and determine the amount of liquid propane remaining in a tank. The first is a pressure gauge like the Camco # CAM59023. This reads the pressure of vapor propane which remains steady until mostly empty then the needle moves quickly to empty. However, Camco does not recommend this product for 2-tank systems. The next method involves measuring the temperature of the tank walls comparing the vapor gas at the top of the bottle which will be nearly room temperature,...

  • Can MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting be Used for External Shower and Grill
Is your tank a 20 gallon or 20 pound tank? The 20 pound tanks are the smaller ones like what you would use for bar-b-q grill at home. If that is what you have then the POL fitting may not work. Check the tank and if where the hose connects to the tank is threaded on the inside then it is a POL fitting. If where the hose connects the threads are on the outside then it is a Type 1 or ACME style. The tank also might have both. You would not have to change the regulator that is on tank now....

  • Using a Vertical 100 Lb. LP Tank On Its Side
A tank that is designed to be used in the vertical position should be used in the vertical position. LP tanks are used by drawing of the gas not the liquid. If you change orientation from design of purpose this is being interrupted and possibly introducing an unsafe situation. I strongly recommend against doing this.
