Question:
Would the The MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221 work for my 2000 Roadtrek Dodge Model? This RV currently has a Model 290 regulator that is mounted horizontally.

Yes it will; your Model 290 is a 2-stage regulator that reduces pressure to 11" WC (water column, which is the standard pressure rating), just like the MB Sturgis regulator. It even has the same inlet and outlet sizes so it will be a perfect replacement and is the following part number:
- MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221
