Video Transcript for Review of JR Products Propane - Hoses - 37207-31275

Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR products Propane Quick Disconnect Hose with Regulator. Like most of your propane hoses, this is designed to allow your propane gas to flow through so you can power up a propane powered appliance. This hose specifically, you could probably use it to connect a 20 pound or 30 pound propane cylinder to a small portable appliance like a gas grill or something when you're out cooking some burgers while you're camping, something along those lines. Whatever the case may be, however you're wanting to use the hose, there are a few things that I would recommend looking into to make sure it's going to work for your setup. The first thing is going to be the length. Obviously you want it to be able to reach from point A to point B so that you can span that distance and get your propane where you need it.

This hose is six feet long, so as long as your point A and point B are less than six feet apart, you should be good there. It's got an internal diameter of 1/4", which is pretty standard for most of these hoses. It's going to be plenty of room to allow that LP gas to flow through there. This is a rubber hose, so it's going to be nice and flexible. You're not going to have to worry about any sort of kinks or cracking like that, so should hold up well, do the job you need it to do.The second thing that I would recommend focusing in on are your fittings.

There's lots of different kinds of fittings out there for your propane appliances and hoses. You want to make sure that you're getting the fittings that are going to work for your setup. This hose has got two different kinds of fittings. We've got the Type 1 or it's sometimes called a QCC1 or an ACME fitting. This is what's going to thread onto your cylinder nozzle to get that propane from your tank.

This does have a nice easy to turn handle here, so this is going to thread on the outside threadings of the nozzle, so we can use that same righty tighty, lefty loosey method that we're used to. It does have the regulator on there, so it's going to work instantly with our propane tanks. The other end is going to be a 1/4" female quick disconnect, so once we open that up we'll be able to insert our male quick disconnect end from our grill or other small appliance and then we can close that to lock it in place. This is very easy to use, it's obviously very quick. You're not going to need any tools, very simple to use. You just want to make sure that these are the fittings that you need for your system.

This QCC1, Type 1 fitting, it's pretty standard. It's going to work with almost all of your propane cylinders. The female quick disconnect is where you're going to be a little bit limited. You absolutely have to have the male quick disconnect to work there. This hose is a UL as well as CSA certified, so it's going to hold up to those high quality standards, you can trust it's going to do a good job and do what you need it to do. This hose is made here in the USA, if that gives you any more confidence in its quality, might be good to know that. Keep in mind if this is not the hose that you need, maybe you need a longer hose or you've got different adapters or different fittings that you need to fit onto, whatever the case may be, I would encourage you to come take a look at our other options here at etrailer.com. We've got lots of different hoses, lots of different adapter fittings. We want to make sure that you're getting the product that you need to solve your problems so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. That's always our goal. So, that's going to complete our look at the JR products Quick Disconnect Propane Hose. Thanks for watching.

  • Parts Needed to Install a Secondary Propane Line Into Camper For Auxiliary Heater
For adding a second inclusive propane hook up I recommend the following parts. First a Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator # 37207-31275 will connect to the propane tank with a type 1 fitting(outer threads). It has a female quick connect to allow you to easily remove it when not needed. Next the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Kit # 104052-401132 can be used to hardline into your living space. Using a solid black steel line is preferred over rubber hoses when going into the living...

  • Propane Hose With Regulator & Quick Disconnect For 20 lb Propane Tank & Portable Grill
We have exactly what you need, a hose with a regulator that will attach to your 20 lb propane tank and a quick disconnect on the other end. The correct part number is the following: - Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose with Regulator # 37207-31275

  • Regulator For 20 lb Propane Tank to Stove
Really any regulator will work to go from a 20 gallon propane tank to a stove top, and a single stage regulator will work such as the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013. You would also need the appropriate hoses, depending on what your stove has, so I've linked out entire selection of hoses for you below. Or, if you were referring to a small camping stove with a quick disconnect, there are hoses designed to go from a 20 lb tank straight to the stove, with the regulator directly...

  • Adding A Quick Disconnect Propane Line To Your Grill
For your Char Broil 4 Burner Propane Grill I recommend attaching part # 37207-30225 to the line coming off of your grill and then attaching part # 401132-MBS to that. Then you'll need a quick disconnect hose which will be part # 37207-31225 for a 6' hose and part # Item # 37207-31235 for a 12' hose I recommend using some thread sealant tape part # 37207-30025 to ensure your connections stay tight and to prevent any leaks. I've attached some videos to offer additional information for you.

  • Fittings To Connect A 100-lb Propane Tank To A Generator, And A 20-lb Tank To A Cook Top
To connect your 100-lb propane tank to your generator, you'll need an adapter like # 204051-MBS. Then you'll just need a hose to go from your tank to the generator. A lot of generators utilize the quick disconnect connector, if that's the case, # CAM59883, with # 401132-MBS will work great. If you do not have a quick disconnect connector, disregard the adapter. For your 20-lb tank, you're going to need something like the Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator # 37207-31275. This...

  • Propane Hose to Connect Aussie Grill to Portable DOT Tank
Most Aussie grills, like DISCONTINUED part 277-000091, have a male quick-disconnect fitting on them and are not already regulated. This means you need a hose with a Type 1 connector to go on your tank and a female quick-disconnect with a regulator like part # 37207-31275. This hose is 6 feet long and includes the regulator on it. If you need a different length or if your Aussie doesn't have a quick-disconnect let me know

The regulator on the Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator - Type 1 - 6' Item # 37207-31275 will allow you to use small appliances that use the smaller propane bottles. The regulator has a maximum BTU rating of 150,000.

  • Recommended Hose And Regulator For A 44,500 BTU Propane Oven/Stove
Since we don't carry fittings that connect to 1/2" NPT threads I can only give you a recommendation on the regulator and hose and you'll need to get a fitting to go from the hose to the 1/2" NPT fitting from your local hardware store. We currently offer the Camco Low-Pressure LP Gas Regulator w/ 12' Long Hose # CAM57721, which will come with a regulator that attaches directly onto the tank with a 3/8" female flare fitting. If you can't find an adapter to go from 3/8" flare to 1/2" NPT...

  • Connecting RV Appliance with Quick Disconnect to Smaller Propane Tank
Our grills like the Portable Gas Grill # 277-000091 use quick disconnects so to connect one a smaller tank you'd need the part # 37207-31275 which would attach to a smaller tank and comes with a regulator as well.

  • Determining The Correct Adapter Hose To Run Between A Propane Tank And Hardline Tee
Using 3/8" copper tubing is very typical for campers, but the hose diameter isn't going to be as large of a factor as you're thinking. The key to having a properly functioning propane system is having the correct pressure (regulator) and a hose capable of withstanding the pressure. The hoses we carry are more than capable of handling the pressure so the real challenge is finding the correct fittings to properly attach your supply to the hardline you have ran in your vintage camper. Depending...

  • Propane Hose With Type 1 Fitting & Female Quick Disconnect
There is one option for a propane hose with a Type 1 fitting (the female side that screws onto the propane tank) on one and and a female quick-disconnect on the other end: - Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator - Type 1 # 37207-31275 This is a 6' long hose, and does come with the regulator (there isn't an option for a hose with these fittings without the regulator.).

The Greystone Countertop Side by Side RV Griddle and Grill - Outdoor - 10,000 Btu - 25" Wide # WAY94FR is not internally regulated. So it inherently can not use a 1 pound or throw away tank. However you can use the Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator - Type 1 - 6' # 37207-31275 with the Camco Propane Adapter - Female P.O.L./Male ACME x 1"-20 Throwaway Cylinder # CAM59213 to get the desired effect.

  • Available Pigtail Hose to Connect Propane Tank to Quick Disconnect on Wedgewood 2 Burner Cooktop
It looks like you've got a quick connect that attaches to the camper, and it's most likely with a pop-up camper you've got typical 20-lb propane tanks with a Type 1 fitting. If this is the case then you can use the Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator - Type 1 - 6' # 37207-31275 to connect the quick disconnect hose to a propane tank. This would allow you to connect directly from your existing hose to the propane tank; the fitting inside the Wedgewood cook top though is not something...

  • Recommended Propane Hose For A Mr. Heater Buddy Portable Propane Heater
The manufacturer only recommends propane hoses up to 12' in length with the Mr. Heater Buddy. I recommend the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose for Small Appliance # 100476-72-MBS for the connection to your heater and from that to the propane tank the Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator # 37207-31275 which has a built in regulator.
