  Sure, you can cut off the Euro 7-pin and add an American-style 4-way. I recommend using the Wishbone Wiring Harness # A20WB, which actually has five wires; it splits the running light wires so you do not have to run a jumper wire from tail light to tail light. You will need to do some splicing and you can use the accompanying diagram of a Euro 7-pin to see how they are typically wired. I recommend using butt connectors # DW05743-10 to connect the 20 gauge wires of the harness.
