Parts Needed to Wire a Trailer With 5 Wires to Be Compatible with a 7-Way

How do I convert the wiring on a 1989 camper with 2 white wires 2 green wires and a red and same thing on the other side except the red wire is brown?

I'm assuming you're wanting to convert your trailer with what looks like it could be a 5 flat wiring connection to a standard 7 way round.

If that's what you're wanting to do, you're going to need to first find out what each wire does and connect them to the 5-Flat Trailer End 48" Harness # 20017.

For the # 20017 harness, the white wire is going to be the ground, the green wire is right turn/brake, the yellow wire is left turn/brake, the brown with green tracer is right side tail lights, the brown with yellow tracer is left side tail lights, and the blue wire is the reverse lockout or reverse lights.

Once the wiring harness is connected you can use an adapter # A10-7275VP to connect your trailer to your truck's standard 7 way.
