Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I had ordered two boat trailer tires thru etrailer.com. I had ordered the wrong lug pattern. When I called etrailer they talk me thru and we got the right tires. They sent me info to send back the wrong tires. I received the correct tires two days later. The sales person was great to work with
Great quality and very fast shipping. Showed up days before expected. Looking forward to towing my camper on these new wheels and tires.
I normally don't give reviews, but this is an exception. I have purchased from etrailer in the past and was always well satisfied with service and product.
But this purchase was a "Special Use" out of the usual application. I needed a tire for use on soft beach sand for a small 4'X 6' utility trailer I use to haul downed/trimmed tree limbs down to the beach to burn. The original 4.7X12 tires plowed a furrow when pulled with B series Kubota tractor with only 100-200 lbs load.
The Kenda tire & rim has increased the float of the tire on the sand and Yugely cut down on the furrowing problem.
The dimensions etrailer posted for the tire were the factor that convinced me the tire/rim would fit my trailer without modification to the fender or axle/hub. GREAT FIT!!
Thank You etrailer for being so through and providing vital product dimensions for an unusual application and going far beyond what the "local tire pros" could supply when I searched locally.
One last BTW, ordered late on a Sat afternoon. Delivered Tues AM. Yeah I'm in the Midwest, but still 700-800 mi away. GREAT SERVICE!!

This tire solved the issue's I was having with the 4.80 12 tires that I have been having.
1. 4.80/12 sinking into the lawn and fields leaving ruts and putting drag on jeep and tractor.
2. The trailer death wobble and bouncing at 55mph.
Note:
They stick out a 1/2 inch past the fender well and that issue will be fixed when I replace the fender wells with wider ones
Tested it yesterday
No ruts or sinking or wobble
Now I will purchase the spare and fender wells.

Very thoughtful and a good business practice, as well. The tires have been put to a lot of hard, regular use and have worked out very well! I have them on my Terra Mite back hoe and have been doing a lot of rough and tumble digging and loading mostly through wooded areas. Ive been very pleased with the tires, the price and service...including the follow-up. I recommend you guys highlly!
Excellent product, great description on the website, reviews are incredibly helpful. The price is competitive but the customer service totally blows away any other retailer! I have a small pop up camper with tiny tires. I found that someone had asked a question on the etrailer website about upgrading tires on the very same make & model camper I have. The answer from etrailer made me wonder if they might have totally missed the mark on recommending this tire. But, I've had amazingly good luck with etrailer and I went ahead and ordered the tires -- and they are perfect, great fit and a huge upgrade! I ordered this on July 3 (late in the day, right before the holiday) and got my order in just a few days - amazing!

Still great tires and a huge improvement over the tires I had. They ride well, not much wear and the extra 2 inches of ground clearance is great.

Great tires with a wide footprint in a small tire, which makes for stable trailering. That's important especially when the load is light (in my case a 165 pound sailing dinghy (when loaded with gear, 190 lbs). I mounted this size from etrailer on both my boat trailers (the other for a 1500 lb 18 ft sailboat). I hauled the sailboat using these tires from Cape Cod to Virginia (13 hours on I-95, which is really beat up in some places) and loved the feel of these tires. Etrailer staff helped me understand they would fit my trailers.
The Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B, are exactly what you see. They look great on our trailer. the service was prompt and very polite. They didn't have what we originally ordered in stock; so they provided us with information of a comparison; although a little more expensive they were a higher weight limit so worked well for us. Everything went smoothly. I read the paragraph on sizing the various 5 bolt patterns and got it right for a change. The tires arrived filled to 50 psi but the spec sheet said 35 psi was correct. We adjusted them when we mounted them, but it confused us a bit. I've used Kenda for my bikes for a long time. No experience with trailer tires. We'll see.
