Will the 7" Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly Work with 8" Wheels
Question:
I was reading articles in the QandA section and read this part number would fit on an 8 inch rim. However when I clicked on the part number and read carefully the application I see this part can only fit on any 10-13 inch rim. So I am a little confused. I definitely have 8 inch rims so I just want to make sure this part number will definitely fit before ordering. Thanks very much. Kind regards

The smallest available wheel size that can be used with 7" drums like the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K is 10". Therefore, you'll have to upgrade wheels for which I recommend using the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" White Wheel part # AM3H350.
The issue is that 7" when referring to the size of the drum is for the inner diameter. The outer diameter will be more. There may be some combos that work but for the most part the two are incompatible (7" drum w/ 8" wheel).
