Its incredibly frustrating that etrailer will not provide dimensional information as to how far the brake plate needs to be from the tip of the axle or the bearing flange. Without this information it is very difficult to use these parts - we had to do it by trial and error and wasted a lot of time and money. The part is fine - lack of information is inexcusable.

  • Availability Of a 3/4 Diameter Spindle For 8 Wheels With Integral Hubs
The Spindle # TRU94FR is the smallest diameter we carry designed for bearings with a 1" diameter. Depending on the outer diameter of your current wheel and bearings you may be able to replace the bearings with another to fit the larger spindle.

  • Changing Agricultural Spindles Or Axle For New Hub Assembly
I have another option but we do not carry any hubs that use the outer LM11749 bearing. Your spindle is an older agricultural spindle that we do not offer hubs or bearings for I recommend changing your spindles or axles to accommodate more readily available hubs. For spindles you can weld on the BT8 Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles - 1-1/4" Diameter # TRU94FR which will allow you to use Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # 34822545BX and Trailer Hub and...

  • Recommended Trailer Parts For 1-1/4 Inch #TRU94FR Trailer Spindle
If you are replacing your current spindles with the 1-1/4 inch spindle # TRU94FR, then the 5 on 4-1/2 trailer hub I recommend for your 2,000lbs trailer axle are the etrailer # AKIHUB-545-2-1K. This hub will be compatible with the L44643 bearing sizes that are needed by the # TRU94FR spindle. This will include the inner and outer bearing, as well as the grease seal, lug nuts, and cap. This is sold in a quantity of one so you will want to change your quantity to two to complete the fitment...

  • Recommended Spindles, Hubs, Wheels and tires for 1200 lb Piece of Agricultural Equipment
If a 2000 lb capacity per pair of spindles would work for you, I'd go with the # TRU94FR spindle along with the # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-1K complete hub which includes bearings, races, the grease seal, the dust cap and lug nuts. The hubs are even pre-greased. The hubs are sold individually. For a compatible wheel/tire combo, use # TA53VR. This is a 205/75-15 bias-ply tire mounted on a white spoke 15 inch wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. If you're looking for something with a higher...

In order to pick out the correct hub assembly for a trailer you are going to need know a few key pieces of information. The first thing you will need to know is the bolt pattern of your hubs. This is so you get a hub that is compatible with your wheels. I attached an FAQ article on determining bolt pattern for you to check out. • Which Trailer Spindles Will Take CE Smith Pre-Greased Trailer Hub 13110
The Pre-Greased trailer hub # CE13110 fits on BT8 spindles such as # TRU94FR. The hub uses inner and outer bearing L44643 and a grease seal with inner diameter of 1.249 inches and outer diameter of 1.983 inches. This is exactly what you would find on a BT8 spindle. Installing a spindle is a precision job that requires a qualified professional to install/weld onto the trailer. If there is an RV dealer with a service center near you, they could probably do the job.

The best spindle option we have is the 2,000 lb axle spindle part # TRU94FR which has an outer diameter of where it would install in an axle of 1.25 inches. • Spindle Recommendation for a Small ATV Trailer with Tires that are 18.5/8.5
You are correct a 1-5/8 inch diameter is not a standard spindle size, however I think I can get you something that might work. Since you supplied the tire size, I was able to track down a tire capacity of approximately 950 pounds. For a single axle trailer with this size tires you would be looking at a capacity under 1900 pounds. So you would use two spindles rated at 1,000 pounds each like the the # TRU94FR, which would work for an axle rating up to 2,000 pounds. This spindle has an...

  • Replacement Hub Assembly For Utility Trailer
We do have the parts you need for your trailer. I recommend the trailer hub assembly, part # 8-91-05UC1. This is a hub assembly that comes with bearings, races, seals, and the grease cap. The bearings included with the assembly will work fine. The seals in the assembly will not work for your spindles as the inner diameter is too large, but we do have a solution. • Should a Spindle That is Chipping be Replaced
Anytime that a spindle is starting to take damage you will want to replace it as that will affect the performance of your bearings and seal. In this case since that chipping is right where the seal sits (as you mentioned) that will eat at the rubber seal which will likely cause it to fail. A failed seal will leak grease and cause further damage to your spindle/hub area. From the picture you sent in it looks like you have a round BT8 spindle. For replacements we have parts # TRU94FR, #...

  • Solution for Replacement Parts for Boat Trailer With Hub Rubbing Trailer Axle
It looks like the hub is rubbing up against the trailer axle on your boat trailer. If I had to guess, I would say since that spindle is attached to the axle with U-bolts it probably shifted over time to a point where the hub is too close to the axle. Moving the spindle out slightly so the hub is no longer contacting that axle will likely take care of the issue unless other parts are damaged. Once you remove the wheel and hub I would inspect the hub, spindle, and axle to see what damage...
