The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. Good lock. Little different design, it screws on with the key inserted. Should be durable.

Great. Havent removed it, but my hitch hasnt been stolen either
Confidence inspiring solid piece of SS. The lock is also low profile so it doesn’t look awkward or gangly. My only complaint is the key is used as a screwdriver of sorts to allow one to unscrew the lock key. This is challenging while on a keychain of any kind. The weather sealing o-ring gave up at first push through the hitch pin hole, but it made screwing the lock body on/off more difficult anyway. I would buy it again because of the simplicity and sleekness.
Looks to be good stainless steel construction. Lock is simple to operate and should not rattle. It looks pretty clean after installed. Works well and the length is appropriate for my 3" hitch. I could have possibly gotten away with the 3-5/8" model but wanted to be sure. Application is 2019 F-250 with 3" hitch.

Very good - no rust or rattle
This is the best lock set up for a 5th wheel that I have ever seen. I would buy it again.
Really nicely made. Rubber cap seems thick and sturdy. Fits our Ram 3500 perfectly. Just as advertised and arrived on schedule. Always happy with the service from these folks!

Had this lock for over a year now, and it is still functioning as designed. Since I remove the hitch each time we travel, it gets utilized on a regular basis. I would definitely buy this product again if needed and can recommend it based on my hands on experience with it.
