I ordered the Flash Simple HD hitch and also bought the locking pins (Item #FA86-00-3685). With the 2" ball in position the locking pin was snug but worked. However when turned upside down to use the 2 5/16 ball the pin would not go completely through. etrailer quickly sent me a replacement which works fine. To be safe, I would suggest verifying the pin works in all position combinations.
Had a set of these on a previous hitch and they seized up. Hoping for a better run this time. Definitely need to spray the barrel locks with WD40 or some other anti-corrosive, or these will have to be cut off with a torch. I live in a high salt winter environment.

There’s room for improvement. The locking mechanism is very weak, one blow with a hammer, and it’s gone. Could be made better with a tighter fit.
The hitch lock works as advertised. Only down side was it sticks out a fair amount on both sides making breakaway chain attachment a little difficult.
The locking pins fit great and function properly! I'm sure they will keep unwanted hands off of them!
Pin diameter is perfect fit. My only reservation is with the somewhat flimsy rubber weatherproofing cap that fits over the keyhole. Time will tell, but I’m skeptical about the longevity of that cap. The locking mechanism is easy to use, and overall the locking pin seems to be high quality.
It has a cheesy rubber cap that the carwash brush will knock off. Then it is just a matter of time for the lock to fill with dirt, etc making it very difficult to unlock. Almost never got it off after a couple of months. It would be fine if you didn't leave it on the truck. Of course, if you didn't why would you need a lock.
This product looked very nice on line , It had great reviews and the price was right.
The hitch will be used on a work pick hauling multiple trailers which is why we need the versatility of the two ball sizes. We also bought the recommended lock set for this hitch. We were very impressed with the hitch once we received it , which came very quickly and in great shape.
I would recommend this product at this time.
My Reese adjustable receiver hitch requires a lock with a 3 3/4” minimum shaft on the lock. This 4” fits fine. 3” fits receiver so now I have one key for both another plus for removing from vehicle to vehicle. Most all stores only carry up to 3 5/8” not long enough for the lock to latch. Actual lock piece is much heavier also.

Locks are easy to use and add finishing touch to hitch...
Excellent customer service from sale to follow-up on order receipt. Product exceeded what was expected and arrived as promised. Needed a much heavier hitch for my 3/4 ton Duramax with a 2 1/2" receiver tube. Perfect combination of weight ratings and adjustability. Will definitely do more business with etrailer.
This is the second hitch and lock we have purchased from etrailer , same item # both times. Excellent hitch, the quality and machining is outstanding. it is light to carry yet very beefy . I have dealt with etrailer for other Items in the past and have never been disappointed. this will be my go to hitch for business as well as personal use. I highly recommend this product and lock.
Just purchased a Fastway FLASH E-series HD adjustable ball mount for my new '17 F250 Superduty. The mount looks great out of the box and fantastic on the truck. Will be towing a triple axle trailer with 30' center console soon as well as a utility trailer off and on. Nice to have one set-up that's able to tow two different loads. The polished finish is very nice and the matching lock set looks very secure. Amazingly fast shipping from etrailer.com too. Even curious George likes it.
I am using this product to make sure my Curt Adjustable 2-Ball Mount 2-1/2" Hitch (item # C45902) doesn't grow legs and walk away while I am not looking. They are a little pricey, but so was the hitch. They seem to be very well made. You can also add 5/8" washers to fill any gaps that you don't want.
I would recommend this product if you want to keep your hitch. Fits my 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500HD factory heavy-duty hitch perfectly.
Pins are exactly what I needed for my extra wide hitch and great material. Easy to use and love the same key so not so many on key chain.

Still working great just like when I first got it. No problems at all.
The locking trailer hitch pins and keys are excellent. They came swiftly and are of very high quality. I definitely would use etrailer.com again. The service is outstanding and they know their business.
good product, only reason i don't give it 5 stars is that the rubber caps that protect the lock cylinder come off after some time and there is no way to get replacements
Product look good for about a month then it started to rust up. Then the lock wouldn’t open to adjust the hitch. Had to cut it off. Don’t waste your money. Poor quality . Hitch is also terrible lost its luster after a couple of months,both balls rusted up and loosened up. The money it cost isn’t worth it.
Purchased with 6" drop hitch for Ram 2500. They shipped it right away via UPS 3 day select and I got both items quickly and in good shape. Everything works/fits as expected on 2.5" receiver. If you have a little pin rattle you can use washers to snug it up.
