InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This lock has a shear strength of 32,000 lbs.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this InfiniteRule hitch lock set. Now this set is going to give you three of these flush style 3/4 inch diameter hitch locks that will secure your ball mount or accessory to your 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch hitch. This will work with the Gen-Y Mega Duty ball mounts as well as the Fastway Flash HD adjustable ball mounts as well as your other 2 1/2 and 3 inch hitches. This is made here in the USA, heavy duty stainless steel so it is going to be very durable for you.
It is third party tested to have a sheer strength of 32,000 pounds. So it is gonna work with those heavier duty ball mounts. As far as our dimensions go, you can see our overall length. We're gonna be looking at approximately 6 1/2 inches. Our inside pin length or our span from here to here, we're looking at just shy of four inches, we'll call it 3 7/8 of an inch there.
This does have the grooved pinhead that's gonna be very easy to grab. We also have the weather resistant tethered dust cap that's gonna help keep water and debris out of our keyways. We get three keys, one for each lock, but they will work. So between the locks, they're all keyed alike so just have to use one key for all three. Then you'll have a couple extras on hand.
You can see we just simply twist the key or we can twist the other end, make it a little bit easier on ourselves to get that to come out. Inside we do have the O-ring here that's gonna protect the internal components from dirt and grime getting in there, and so very simple to operate. Just slide the pin through and twist it in place to get it locked nice and tight for us. So if you are looking for three matching locks for your ball mount, this is gonna be a great way to go. Just have the one key on hand, be able to take any of them off that you need.

Works for the hyperhitch 9” adjustable drop 3” hitch. Needs two 3/4 pins if no pintle accessory and three if pintle accessory. Has the prefect span .
Although trailer theft is rare, I highly recommend this lock pin for your gooseneck combined with a hitch lock to prevent and deter the idea. Especially when having to leave your trailer unattended in a public parking lot or on the job. The simplest solution at a great price.
The Hitch lock is definitely a deterrent. It's made of great quality material. It is standing the test of time from harsh weather and tampering. I highly recommend this hitch lock. We're purchasing another.

The product is great, getting it from ETRAILER is the problem, 2nd time had to order this, 1st time I ordered this part with 2 trailer rims that were said to be in stock, waited 10days for them to tell me they're waiting for the rims to come in from backorder 6months from now so we can ship everything together. It's spring I'd like to use my trailer before now. Poor customer service!!

This is the simplest and most effective lock I’ve ever used, I pull my bulldog hitch off, then install the locking pin when my trailer sits that takes two minutes or less to secure…
I have a Gator Made 40 foot utility trailer and after speaking to a couple of your representatives, I decided to try this hitch lock (we weren't sure if it was long enough). Well, it was!! I'm impressed with the product. Very solid. And now, I can sleep at night knowing that my trailer is secure from theft.

I had an issue with the lock for my application (my problem for not reading the discription completely) so I called InfiniteRule Security directly and their customer service is second to none. This locking pin adds a bit of security to my new LQ horse trailer. I have a coupler lock for the gooseneck, but realized the gooseneck can be removed by simply pulling the unlocked pin. Problem solved!!!

Replaced the quick pin with this locking pin to help prevent someone from easily stealing my expensive shocker air hitch. Nothing is 100% safe from thieves, but for the money it’s well worth it.
1st of all I think it's a little overpriced for what it is. But it works. also you say it's for a Gen. Y coupler it also does the shocker gooseneck coupler Shipping time was great.
