Recommended Lock Pin for Solid-Tow Adjustable 2-Ball Mount

Question:

Hello I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Custom Trail Boss with the standard, factory installed, 2inch trailer hitch. I would like to add the: Fastway Solid-Tow Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Stainless Balls - 2inch Hitch - 8inch , 9inch Rise Item # DTSTBM6800-2S with a: Bulldog Lifelong Trailer Hitch Lock for 2inch Hitches - Flush - 2-1/2inch Span - Stainless Item # BD580402 Will that combination work? It seems the outside width of the standard receiver is right on the edge of 2 1/2. Can you confirm the outside dimensions of the Chevy receiver? Please advise, regards,

The Solid-Tow Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # DTSTBM6800-2S is a great option. In regards to a locking pin, there are many options to choose from. My favorite is the InfiniteRule Hitch Lock part # 34061074-D because it has an o-ring on the inside of the lock cylinder so there is very little chance for water to get in and seize the lock.

The Bulldog Lifelong Trailer Hitch Lock part # BD580402 is another option but the trailer hitch cannot be more than 2-1/2" wide outside to outside. If you can measure to verify beforehand then great but if not I recommend a more universal option like the one above.
