Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Flint Hill Goods hitch receiver lock. Now, this lock is going to be perfect for keeping any hitch accessory or ball mount lock securely to your hitch. The flush style hitch lock is used in place of your standard pin and clip to help prevent theft of your ball mount or hitch mounted accessory. So you can secure your bike rack, cargo carrier, hitch cover, and more to your trailer hitch. Now, with the included adapter sleeve, this is going to allow you to use this lock with your one and a quarter inch and your two inch hitch.

And let me go ahead and just unlock this real quick. As you can see, you do get two keys and so you just insert one of the keys and give it a little bit of a push and then turn it clockwise and that will unlock the lock from the pin itself. And so, as you can see, you have this adapter sleeve and without the sleeve, the pin diameter is a half an inch, so this is going to work with your one and a quarter inch hitch. This will slide right into your hitch pin hole on your one and a quarter inch hitch. And then, with the sleeve, this will increase the pin diameter to five eights of an inch to allow it to work with your two inch hitch, sliding right into your hitch pin hole of your two inch hitch.

So it's nice that it has this flexibility. If you have two vehicles, and one with different size hitches, this is going to work just fine due to this adaptor sleeve working with your two-inch hitch receiver. And this features a PVC dust cap that's going to help keep any dirt and debris out of that locked cylinder. I did want to point out that you do need the key to lock this. So, this lock is currently in the locked position and I can't lock that.

So you do need the key inserted and turned to the unlocked position to allow you to lock this securely. So have that in the unlocked position. I'm gonna turn the key to the lock position and as you can see, that is now locked into place. So this is a durable lock in my opinion. This is constructed of carbon steel, then it has this black e-coat, so it is going to be corrosion resistant.

Lemme go ahead and retrieve my ruler here. Just wanted to give you the measurement of that inside pin length. And as you can see, we're sitting right at two and three quarters of an inch. So the overall, this is going to do a great job of securing your ball mount, your hitch accessory. It's going to be very easy to use. And that cap is going to keep your lock free from debris. So I just wanted to again show you, insert the key, give it a little bit of a push, turn it clockwise. And while that's in the unlocked position that key's going to stay in there. And then when you run this through your hitch receiver put the lock back on the pin, turn that counterclockwise to the locked position, close your cap, you're secure and ready to go.
