Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this replacement Black Back Cover for your Solera Power and Crank Style Manual RV Awnings. This is going to replace the back cover of the plain idler head on your Solera 12 Volt Electric or Crank Style Manual RV Awning. And the good news is this fits all Solera 12 Volt Electric or Crank Style Manual Awnings with the plain heads. Now, in case you don't know, the plain style head includes the Lippert logo on the front, and if you are facing your awning, the idler head is on the right hand side. So, on your screen, I've got a few photos there.
The photo on the left-hand side is the plain head with the logo, and the photo on the right-hand side is what's called the regal head with no logos. So, just so you're aware of that distinction. And again, this is for the back cover only. If you are also in need of the front cover, the good news is we do carry that as well. And on your screen, I am including the item number for that front cover if you are in need of it.
Just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website, and that will take you to that front cover so you can add it to your order. Now, hardware is not included with this. And again, this is the black color option. This is directly from Lippert. This is their direct replacement.
So, what that means for you is you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. Great product, just wish they would add the screws. Most times, these things get damaged by tree limbs and the screws are no where to be found. Just a trip to the hardware store, minor inconvenience.

The first cover was not the correct one. Called Supplier, They said They would trade. I sent the first one back, They sent correct one. Everything worked out fine. Good Supplier.

Replaced this and the mating front piece. Exact fit, which is should have because it came from manufacturer - etrailer is only the retailer.
Got three out of five stars because neither part came with screws. You might have these from the factory install, but you might not.

Order this part it came on time and it was just what we needed. We had looked at another product site they wanted more and I couldn't get them to verify that the part I wanted was right but Etrailer knew just what I was looking for and they were a lot cheaper. thanks

Lippert, the manufacturer does not provide hardware with this item. Since this is a replacement part, the assumption is that the existing hardware would be reused when the cover is replaced.

Now that I've had this part replaced for over a year I can say it's OEM and no issues since installment. It took me maybe 10 minutes to replace.
