Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a quick look at this Eclipse magnet mounting bracket for your four-way flat trailer connector. This mounting bracket is going to let you secure your four-pole flat trailer connector to your vehicle's hitch, and it's going to lift your plug up off the ground to prevent it from dragging while you're not towing. This rare earth magnet is going to keep the bracket firmly attached to your hitch, and it's going to, obviously, install in seconds. What's nice about this is no drilling is required, and then you can remove or reconnect it to your hitch without any hassle, whatsoever. Just wanted to give you a brief demonstration of that magnet.
So as you can see, it's got a really nice strong hold. And I mean, this is really just a great option to keep your four-pole flat out of the way. I really like the fact that there's no drilling required, and it's actually, obviously, going to be adjustable as well so you can move it along your hitch if you need to to make sure that it's always conveniently available and also out of the way too if you happen to need to move that connector. So you have maximum flexibility with a bracket like this. So as you can see, this does feature a low-profile design.
There's not going to be any unsightly mounting tabs hanging off of your hitch. And this is made here in the U.S.A. of high-impact aerospace aluminum. So it's going to do a great job of resisting damage, and the powder coat finish is durable and corrosion resistant. Now just some overall measurements in case you we're interested.
Beginning with the overall height, we're sitting right at about 2 3/8 inches tall, almost 2 1/2 inches tall. And then the overall width here at the widest point, you can see we're sitting pretty close to two inches wide. And the opening here is about 5/16 of an inch, and that, of course, is where your four-pole flat is going to slide in. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty from Eclipse. Well, that's going to conclude our brief look today.

Nice product. It has a very strong magnet which holds the connector firmly in place. However, it also allows me to move the connector to hide it behind the bumper cover when not in use, which is nice.

It is unusual that it is not a fit with the Hopkins 4 way. Can you tell me more in how it is not fitting for you?
