Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the angled plunger and door socket. This is going to help to hold your door open whenever you're loading things into your enclosed trailer, whether that's gear, equipment or anything else. It's going to have an offset to it and an angled plunger there. So if your door kind of hits an angle with your wall, this is going to be a good fit for you. So just push the plunger into the socket and that's going to hold your door open. That way you can get in and out without having to fight with that door every time.
It's a nice metal construction, should be pretty sturdy, should be able to withstand being outside on your trailer at all times. It's a zinc-coated steel, so should be pretty resistant to any kind of rust and corrosion. The inside here is a nice heavy-duty rubber socket to hold our plunger in place. That plunger comes out at about a 45 degree angle. So makes an angle there, again if your door doesn't happen to sit flush. It does also come with the mounting hardware to get this installed.
That's always nice, we don't have to worry about picking up anything from the hardware store, it's all included with this. As far as the size, the plunger itself is three inches long. The bracket is also about three inches long edge to edge, and then about one and a half inches wide. The distance between the mounting holes center to center is roughly two and an eighth inch apart. For our socket, it's about three and a half inches wide and about two and an eighth across, and just about an inch tall. The distance between those two mounting holes center to center again about two and three quarters.
Our screws are about an inch long. That's about all there is to it for our look at the angled plunger and door socket holder for your enclosed trailer. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right one for you. If not, we do have others available here at etrailer.com with different configurations. Hopefully we'll have something to get you situated and back out on the road.
Thanks for watching.

The manufacturer’s original was straight instead of angled, so the pin did not catch properly. E-trailer came through again (I have ordered before), and in spite of shipping delays because of the COVID virus, my order arrived in less than a week.
A11111 I WILL BUY AGAIN THANKS.
ALL GOOD
