Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR Products' pivoting door holder. This is going to be a handy piece to have, to keep your door open on your trailer, to maybe keep it from closing on you especially if you're loading things in and out of your trailer. It's just going to be a kind of a rod and keeper style, so it's going to fit into this little polymer piece, and that's what's going to hold it in place. So it's going to work best on those areas where your door is going to kind of come straight out, and you just can push it onto that polymer piece to keep that in place.
It does rotate around, so it holds in place best at kind of a 90 degree angle or a flat angle, and then a 45, and then again at 90 degrees and back the other way.Comes with the hardware to mount both our polymer piece and the rod piece. So we get four screws, you really only need two, and those are just going to fit down in there. As far as the size, this is going to be about 3" long, from the back of the bracket to the front of that piece, and then it's about 2 1/4" wide, and about 1 1/4" inch tall. inaudible 00:01:32 it's folded all the way over. It's going to be about 1 3/4"...
Or excuse me, about 3 3/4" long, and it'll still be about that 1 1/4" deep.As far as our polymer piece, inaudible 00:01:58 for you guys, it's going to have about a 1 1/4" diameter, and then it's about seven, eight, 7" thick. This is covered by a lifetime warranty from JR Products, and that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the pivoting door holder. There are a lot of other options available though here at etrailer.com, so if this doesn't quite suit your needs, we have others that might do a little bit better for you, so definitely check those out. I really like this style of doorkeeper and I like the fact that it folds out of the way when not in use.Also like the fact that you can adjust how strong receiver holds by screwing the screw in or out on it.
