Very pleased with etrailer.com. They had what I needed, it showed up on time, and I appreciate the follow up emails checking to see if I received the product. I will continue to use this site over [online stores], for all of my trailer needs.

This waste valve is working great. I used it to change my RV’s thirteen year old, poorly functioning, 40 inch long cable controlled valves which were located in the center of the rig (very difficult to access to service and the black water valve wouldn’t close all the way, not good!), to direct pull valves located right behind the compartment door. Being able to rotate the spigots let me position the valves exactly where I wanted them. Made the “re-plumbing” portion of the project very easy to complete.

by:

Good product, it shipped on time and serves its purpose literally.

This Sewer Wye Waste Valve is a perfect replacement for the valve on our 13 year old trailer. Our original valve was cracked when I drove over a rock and hit the valve. Before ordering, I removed the cracked valve to determine whether I needed spigot or hub ends. Very quick shipping and the job went smoothly.

Just what I needed

works well after a year of use.

Very happy with the whole purchase and delivery of this product. Can't wait to place on my travel travel and have it work.

by:

by:

Exactly what I needed. Shipped promptly and I installed it with no problem. Thanks!

  • Understanding Difference Between Hubs and Spigots for RV Waste Valves
You should be able to tell which Valterra Double RV Waste Valves you need by inspecting your current connection points. The one end with the lugs on it is the same on all 3 parts so you simply need to determine if you need hubs, spigots, or a combination of both. A hub connection fits around the spigot so you just need to check the other side of your waste valves to see if the adapter has fittings that connect on the inside or outside of the pipe they are connected to. Then you just need...

  • Which RV Double Waste Valve Is Needed for a 2018 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 2108DS
I have a solution for you, but we don't have access to information that tells us exactly what pipes are found on particular coaches. The # TR38A has a spigot for the black water pipe and a hub for the grey water pipe, so if your coach has those fittings then this would be the correct valve for your 2018 Minnie Winnie 2108ds. You will need to remove the current valves to determine which fittings are on your grey and black water pipes, but for reference- hubs on the valves slide OVER your...

  • Double RV Waste Valves for Gray and Black Water Valve
Thanks for the photo and based on that we do have a replacement that will work for you although you are going to need to know what your gray water pipe and black water pipe connections are - either spigot or hub - which I'll explain but you are going to need to remove your valve to find this out. Basically, hubs on the valves slide OVER your RV's water lines while the spigots on the valves slide INTO the water lines. When you take off your current valve, pay attention to if it slides into...

  • Differences between Valterra Sewer Wye # TR38, TR38A and TR38B
The difference between all three of the part numbers is the difference between a "hub" and a "spigot." The hubs fit over the spigots so it's basically the style of fitting you need. The part # TR38 has a hub and a hub for bot the 3 inch side and the 1-1/2 inch side opening. The part # TR38B has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch spigot. The part # TR38A has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub.

  • Differences Between Three Valterra Double RV Waste Valves
The difference between the three valves are their fittings. The hubs on the valves slide over your RV's water lines while the spigots on the valves slide into the water lines. • Recommended Replacement Double RV Waste Valve
From the picture you provided, it does look like the Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye - Rotating - 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Spigot # TR38B will be the correct fit for you. However, I will say it is a good idea to measure the 2 pipes going into the valve to make sure they match the 1 1/2" and 3" ports.

  • Differences Between Valterra Double RV Waste Valve Models
The difference between these models is the connection points for the black and gray water pipes. A hub will fit over a pipe while a spigot will fit inside of a pipe. You'll just need to choose the correct connection type for your current piping. The # TR38 is a 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Hub. The # TR38A is a 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Hub. The # TR38B is a 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Spigot. The # T38C is a 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Spigot.

  • Troubleshooting Leaking Black Water Fitting on 1969 Forester
The damaged outlet hole will require replacing. I believe you will need to drop the tank to see what is really wrong with the fitting to cause the leak. Then you will use the Valterra ABS Solvent Cement - 1/4 Pint # A05-0303 and I believe the LaSalle Bristol RV Sewer Slip Hub with Flange - 3" # 34466V13 to replace the broken fitting.

  • How To Connect Lippert Waste Master RV Sewer Hose To RV Waste Valve
I have another option but there is not a Valterra shut off valve that has the camlock connector already installed to work with the Lippert Waste Master RV Sewer Hose w/ Leakproof Camlock and 90-Degree Nozzle # LC359724 you were looking at. Instead If your current shut off valve has a 3" bayonet spigot like the Valterra Double RV Waste Valves # TR38B you will need to cut the lugs off of the valve, use sand paper to smooth out the surface, and then use Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303...

  • What is Difference Between Double Waste Valves # TR38, # TR38A, and # TR38B
The difference between the part numbers you mentioned of # TR38, # TR38A and # TR38B comes down to the difference between spigots and hubs in terms of how these valves install. So hubs fit OVER a pipe and spigots fit INTO a pipe. So the part # TR38A has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub # TR38 has a hub for both fitting sizes # TR38B has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub.

  • Does the Double RV Waste Valve Need to Be Attached to Frame of Coach
No, you won't need to install any additional supports for the Double RV Waste Valves - Sewer Wye - Rotating - 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Spigot # TR38B. This does not need to be attached to the coach via anything outside of the RV sewer pipes. You will want to use some Valterra ABS Solvent Cement - 1/4 Pint # A05-0303 to make sure it's secured to the pipes.
