This RV sanitation tee with double rotating valves is a part of your motor home's waste management system. The T-configuration combines the flow of wastewater from your gray-water tank and your black-water tank. And the valves can be rotated as desired during setup to make it easier to reach them. Connect your sewer hose to the 3" lug fitting on the sanitation tee and open the valves to drain your holding tanks.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Sanitation T with double rotating valves. This unit can be used as a replacement or it can be added to your RV sewer system. It's designed to combine your black water and gray water tank drainage tubes to one outlet. The black water and gray water tank tubes still have their own gate for controlling drainage. Each valve is designed to rotate, which gives you easy accessibility, so that's simply what we mean is that each one can rotate back and forth. Really nice design of the unit. I do want to point out that one's going to have a gray handle, the other one's going to have a black handle, that's going to distinguish which one is for the black tank, and which one is for the gray tank.
Gray goes with gray, black goes with black. It's going to come with the end cap right here for the main drain tube. This is going to be tethered on there, so you don't have to worry about losing that or misplacing it. When you're ready to connect your drainage hose this hub is designed to work with a standard 3" diameter hose with a bayonet style fitting. Then you can see there, this is going to be the gate for the black water, and then this is going to be the gate for your gray water tank. Really nice design.
Cap easily connects. Nice strong, durable construction. When it comes to the connection points for the tubing, right here for the black water tank this is going to accept a standard 3" plumbing pipe. If we take an internal measurement of that you can see that's going to be 3 1/2", so your standard pipe on your RV is going to have an internal diameter of 3". It's going to be a 1/4" wall, so you're going to have 1/4" on each side, which combines for a total of 3 1/2", which would fit perfectly inside of this connection point.
The spigot right here for the gray water tank tube is going accept a standard 1 1/2" diameter pipe, that's going to be the internal measurement right there. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Sanitation T, with the double rotating valves.

I just received the product today and at first glance it looks to be exactly what I need. I went to Home Depot and bought ABS pipe and ABS pipe glue, along with other connectors required for the gray water line, and hope to cut the ABS line to fit and complete the assembly and repair in the next few days. The product was purchased because my rear tire on my RV blew off its tread while driving, and the force of the tread splitting off knocked off my previous RV holding tank valve assembly and dropped it somewhere on the highway! Here is a photo after the original valve assembly broke off! Travel on!

I put this on a 1980 trailer. It almost went right in. I had to extend the gray water inlet to fit up with the original mount location. It is very handy that this assembly pivots so I could easily align the discharge line from the gray water to the valve. I then just added a section of PVC to make up the short fall. I am very pleased with this manifold, valve assembly. It came complete with the gaskets.

This Product T18C worked great. I was able to change out my old Septic fitting and remove my Gray water outlet and combine it into this fitting and now I have one Septic outlet for my camper.
I highly recommend this product.
