Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement screen frame with screen for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vents. This unit replaces a broken screen frame and screen on your Ventline Ventadome RV roof vent for motor homes and enclosed trailers. It's going to be held securely in place by the frame itself and the screen is known to keep out debris and insects when the vent is open. It's a really nice design. Again, this is going to replace the screen frame and the actual screen. It works with Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2092, V2110, V2094 and V2119. It's polar white in color.
It's made in the U.S.A. I'm going to go ahead and show you how to replace the screen frame and screen. It's a very easy process. I do have an actual vent right here. What we need to do is just gain access to the hand knob. Again, it's going to be pretty simple.
My application simply just calls for a Phillip's head screwdriver. Place that in there and I need to remove that screw that holds that handle in place or that hand knob in place, so loosen that up all the way. We'll just take that screw and set it aside. Then what you want to do is you just want to pull up on that handle. You can wiggle it loose. It's going to pop right off of there.
It's got a nice groove design because those grooves engage and that allows opening and closing of the vent. You just need to work that off of there and then you can push in on these tabs. That's going to take the old screen out of the vent. Then to place on your new one, just repeat those steps. Make sure these tabs engage in the proper location. That post right there should line up perfectly so that we can place our handle back on.
Push it down into place and then take the screw, drop it in and tighten it down. I also want to point out that the screen itself, so you're going to have the framing and then you're going to have the screen, that screen is removable. That just pops out of there. What that does is it simply allows you to remove it from the entire screen frame and vent in case you need to wash it or clean it off. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement screen frame with screen for Ventline Ventadome trailer roof vents.

Shipping was fast. Product is a perfect fit. I personally feel that the design of the knob cover should be incorporated into the screen section and not the frame. The current design is to allow for removal of the screen without removing the knob, however, this cover does not fit tightly leaving a gap. Removing the knob to remove the screen is not difficult, and having this cover integrated to the screen would eliminate the gap issue.

Unfortunately, they used the cheapest, most brittle plastic to make these fans and screens. Original one wasn't even 2 years old and every tab had broken off the frame, the screen frame fell apart. Replacement parts were of the same, cheap plastic and will last about as long as the original. Way too expensive for what you get.

This was a perfect replacement for my 2019 Coachmen Catalina SBX. I was surprised at how brittle the original had become. Be aware that the installation video may not be applicable to your requirement. I had to remove the outer frame first before I could remove the old screen and put the new one in.

1st,the staff at etrailer were awesome in helping select the correct parts. The screen and screen holder future perfectly. The hinge area on the replacement smoke vent cover was a little different than the original and required a little modification to the metal hinge part. Using a pneumatic wheel cutter, I trimmed the two outside tabs of the metal hinge which allowed the smoke vent cover to fit properly. One recommendation.... when installing the C clip...install the bottom of C clip onto it's tab and insert a small screwdriver behind it to hold it in place while installing vent cover. Otherwise it will continue to pop off. After cover is on the hinge, finish clipping the top half of C clip into place. Then remove screwdriver from behind C clip. FINISHED!

the part was exact replacement for bathroom exhaust vent in an Entegra Qwest RV, however these are thin plastic parts exposed to constant sunlight, this was a replacement of a three year old part.

I searched around a while before remembering I have ordered trailer parts from etrailer several times.
I was cleaning the RV vent screens and found one of the plastic frames around one had cracked from age. Not needing a whole new vent at 60 plus bucks, I checked and found etrailer had vents and vent parts. The parts I needed were about a third of the price for the whole vent system. Arrived in a week. It took about 5 minutes to put vent back together. Much better than removing the whole vent, resealing and replacing everything when that was not needed.

I've placed 2 orders with etrailer. Both arrived in minimal time and everything was as ordered. Since I have Amazon Prime, I tend to search there first. For some reason it wasn't easy to find this exact Ventline replacement screen frame in Polar white. I stumbled across it on etrailer and was pleasantly surprised that they were priced very well and actually cheaper than Amazon. I added the new knobs and screws to go with it. Now my 2005 Rockwood Roo looks nicer without the dingy yellow roof vents. I'll be back for sure for future parts. Thanks
