Roof Vent Recommendation For A 1978 VW Adventurewagen

Question:

Thank you again for the reasons. That sounds like a much better fit. Are you aware of a similar model with a white cover and no Thermostat? Theres no a/c in the bus and we live in Texas so the Thermostat wouldnt work well for us.

Instead of going with the MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K mentioned before, I suggest taking a look at the:

-Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # FV803350 instead.

This roof vent is designed to fit RV, camper, and trailer roofs up to 4" thick, unlike the MaxxFan Deluxe you mentioned which will fit roofs 2"- 4-1/2".

Additionally, this fan is also reversible, and the variable speed fan offers two modes of operation that allow you to boost or reduce airflow as needed.

Attached is a review video of # FV803350 for you to check out as well.

Sure thing! Take a look at the: -Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Powered Lift # V2119-603-00 instead. Similar to # MA00A04301K, this roof vent also has a reversible fan for intake/exhaust, as well as a powered lift to open and close the cover, which will eliminate hand cranking.
