Shipping was above average, very quick.
Product
was what I expected, HOWEVER The last one I purchased from another co. Included all the required screws. I was miffed when I opened the box and saw no screws, and the directions which I do not need were for a different application. Overall pleased.

by:

Was missing the retaining clips on both items. The old ones were ok.

Let me get you over to customer service anyway. I know the old ones will suffice, but they should still know how it arrived to you.

by:

What I'd like to know is how ETrailer got my Roof Vent stuff to me so quickly. Not only that, but I get a note right after I ordered referencing a prior order (for the same thing...different trailer) and I'm saying to myself, "These folks take customer service to another level." Everything ordered was in the box and delivered intact.

by:

Easy installation and operation.

by:

The knob to open and close the vent was not not screwed down. It would make it very difficult to open and close the vent

by:

This was a great vent for my family's pop up camper that was passed down the family to me. The vent cover in the middle of the camper was broke into peices and was covered up for many years. No damage was down from the rain so I was thankful. This vent is great and It was real simple to install. And works perfectly and is for sure brand new in the box. Note: it did not come with screws, so you will need to get those along with your caulk tape and caulking of your choice. The instructions calls for size #8 screws. I used 1" long self tapping screws which worked perfectly for the job.

Thanks etrailer.com your fast shipping and reasonable prices, which got my camper as good as new now. I will be using you guys from now on, if anymore parts are needed in the future.

by:

Fit the old opening just fine. Easy install, I had to install backwards because of the roof slope on my A-Frame trailer.

by:

Trailer roof vent was of high quality and was self installed with no problems. Very pleased with etrailer.com.

by:

Thank you! Just what I needed.

by:

Great product, perfect product without the handle

by:

Delivery was timely and arrived complete and intact. The Vent dome kit fit perfectly and I was able to install the assembly in a short time with excellent results. I will definitely return to e trailer for future projects.

by:

this rating is for the service, have not installed the roof vent, the service and ordering process were outstanding, i had the item in hand 3 days after placing the order. Thanks for the quick turn-around, if i need anything else for my trailer you are definitely the first choice for me

by:

Everything worked out perfectly!

by:

Was very pleased with the service and quick response. It got here sooner than promised and have already gotten it installed. It was used in the conversion of an enclosed utility trailer.

by:

Easy to install ( I highly recommend a good quality elastomeric caulk) the dome is a light weight plastic, had I known I would have spent more money for a heavier fiberglass unit.

by:

Easy installation. Great for daytime light, and ventilation.

by:

Appears well made and easy to install. One of the great things is Etrailer sells repair/replacement parts so you don't have to replace the whole unit if something breaks or wears out. Nice unit and great price

by:

Received the vent faster than expected, installed is and work great! Removed the old vent and installed this unit, fits great and the screen is much better than the old one. Great price, fast delivery, installed easily.

by:

Good product, easy to install.

by:

Due to packing of shipment, heavy items were put on top of vent and vent plastic was cracked

by:

So easy to install. Did it in one half hour.

After ordering the wrong one customer service was awesome and finally installing the correct one, it works great. It was easy to install too.

by:

I bought this vent to replace the one in my Pace American cargo trailer. The only alteration needed was to trim 1/2 inch off the inside trim, my roof was thinner. I found butyl tape & sealant at Lowes to complete the job. Vent looks great & I like the knob better than the crank, doesn’t stick down to snag stuff.

1 year later I wouldn’t change a thing, works great, looks great!

by:

Material could be a bit stronger but does the work! Good bang for the buck

by:

I was pleased and surprised when installing the new vent, that it was not only a perfect fit in the opening in the camper roof, but the screw holes in the flange lined up precisely with the holes from the previous unit I had removed! This may be because there is some kind of industry standard on hatch flange layouts, or I just got lucky. But boy, did that make the install simple and fast. I ran out of my Dicor Self-leveling sealant, before getting completely around the unit, but the job is virtually done and the new vent looks great!

Sorry, but the camper has been parked for a long time. But no question, the new vent is fine: no leaks, functions well. Thanks!

by:

These were exactly what we were looking for to replace our existing yellow speakers. Perfect fit in our 2006 Kodiak Hybrid. Quick delivery and reasonable price.

  • Roof Vent Replacement Recommendation for 2014 Rockwood 1640LTD
I really appreciate you getting me a picture of the roof vent lid you have on your trailer but since we don't have anything that matches what you sent in your best option will be to replace the entire roof vent like with the Ventline Ventadome part # V2092SP-28. This will fit the same roof opening dimensions you have currently and will give you an all new setup that will work great.

  • Solution for Needing Replacement Screen for Northern Breeze Roof Vent
I do have an option for you but the correct replacement screen is not available as it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The only option we can offer you is a new unit, the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent part # V2092SP-28 or part # V2094SP-30 with fan. These units will however be a direct replacement for the Northern Breeze Vent you have now.

All of the replacement vent lids we offer are designed to fit 14-1/4 by 14-1/4 inch roof vents (typically referred to as 14 x14). We do not have a lid recommendation I could make for a 12 by 12 inch vent. The only suggestion I can make is recommend a replacement vent like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-28 to replace your entire roof vent. To install I recommend the Installation Kit # 344270KITW and I've attached a video to assist.

  • Trailer Roof Vent Installation Kits and Sealers
The Ventline trailer roof vent # V2092SP-28 does not include mounting screws or sealant. The reason is that trailer roofs vary in their materials and thickness and if hardware were to be included it would not work for each and every application. But we do have vent install kits and sealants to help you get the job done. I linked a video to help too. We have vent installation kit # 344270KITW for trailers with a metal roof; this includes both hardware and sealant. We also have a kit for...

It looks like your older JayFlight camper used a different vent size than what is typical for vents. We have some options that are 8" x 13-1/2" so you only have to cut out one way, but if you are willing to modify your roof I recommend just going ahead and getting a 14" x 14" roof vent as that is a very common size. If you are willing to do this then you can use the Ventline Ventadome # V2092SP-28 that you referenced. To finish the installation you will need the Installation Kit # 344270KITW...

  • Roof Vent Recommendation for a Camper Bathroom and Kitchen
The # VP-543SP doesn't pull enough air to be an efficient fan for a bathroom shower/tub or as a range vent for above cooking surfaces. That is what the tech note in the product description is referring to. This vent is designed to fit a rough opening of 6-1/4 inches. It would be too small to replace what you currently have.
