Trailer Roof Vent Installation Kits and Sealers
Question:
Do replacement screws come with this item? Is there also a seal/sealant included or does both screws and sealant need to be purchased?

Expert Reply:
The Ventline trailer roof vent # V2092SP-28 does not include mounting screws or sealant. The reason is that trailer roofs vary in their materials and thickness and if hardware were to be included it would not work for each and every application. But we do have vent install kits and sealants to help you get the job done. I linked a video to help too.
We have vent installation kit # 344270KITW for trailers with a metal roof; this includes both hardware and sealant. We also have a kit for trailers with a rubber roof, part # CAM25013.
After you complete the installation and any sealant used has cured/set completely I recommend also applying pure silicone caulk like # LT37464 over all screw heads and seams to provide additional protection against entry of water.
