This sewer hose adapter connects to your RV's waste valve at one end and to your sewer hose at the other. It is angled downward so that there isn't a bend in your sewer hose that could put stress on the hose. And the clear plastic makes it easy to see when your black-water tank is empty.
The adapter threads into a standard 3" diameter hose. The threading produces a seal to eliminate the need for hose clamps. The 3" bayonet fitting attaches to the 3" lug fitting on your RV's waste valve.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Clearview Threaded RV Sewer Hose Adapter. This connector is going to connect to the waist valve on your RV and it's going to connect to your hose. It's got the threaded attachment here, just threads in to the standard three inch diameter hose. No additional clamps or hardware's needed to make the fitting work. Just threads in produce a nice, tight seal. On this end, you're going to have a four prong bayonet style fitting. This is going to provide a tight, secure connection point at the waist valve on the RV.
It's got the internal seal there, which is going to ensure leak proof performance. Again, this is designed to fit a three inch diameter hose and a standard three inch valve fitting with a bayonet log attachment design. It's got the forty five degree elbow or bend in it that's really going to help reduce the amount of stresses typically placed on the hose. It's a clear material that's going to let you see when your tanks are clean and it's a very strong durable construction that's going to last you a long time. I’m living in the North, full time in my RV, while I build my house. It’s important to know that the grey tank has completely emptied and the elbow is empty too, before closing the valve. I flush lines with RV antifreeze to prevent any icing and these transparent fixtures allow me to see what’s going on.

Second one purchased for truck camper and now motorhome. They work great! The extension makes things visible and you avoid crawling around on your knees to attach and detach the hose.

We use these two fittings on our class A motor home. The 5" long straight line fitting alignes the waste to the opening, so the 45 degree will be centered in the access opening. This permits the waste pump to attach in an upright position. Since the waste pump should not be run empty, I can see when the tanks are empty and stop the pump when necessary. When using the flush out, I can tell when the waste has cleared.

This clear extension is an RV must have. Draining the sewer line is essential but it’s also important to see and know what’s coming out of the holding tanks and that’s what this clear extension does.

I wanted to permanently install sewer lines to my camper. I ordered two products from etrailer.com first was the bayonet to 3" PVC fitting which was exactly the part for the job. When I did not align the piping correctly with the sewer line going into the ground (tank) I had a drip while dropping grey and black water, so I had to order a 5" bayonet on one end and lugs on the other end fitting to get the sewer line straight.
I didn't even know this fitting existed, but working with Reesa, we found exactly what I needed.

Great product and a most have when you own a portable waste water tank. Never experienced leaks. Hose is small enough to fit into a small/medium plastic container for sanitary storage in the camper.

Works as advertised, clear view of the operation and rinsing of tanks, makes the whole experience easier. This 45 angle allows, in my opinion, for a better flow of the waste when compared to the more common 90 angle. Connection to a typical flex hose is fast and does not require extra clearance under the RV.

I added this to my 3 inch drain line that connects to my macerator pump so I can make sure the tanks are running clear. It has helped in make sure the tanks are empty and cleaned.
