Video Transcript for Review of JR Products Propane - Adapter Fittings - 37207-30045

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products propane adapter fitting. This adapter fitting is going to have a 1/4" female inverted flare end that you can hook up your male inverted flare pigtail, coming from your LP gas cylinder. Then it's also going to have a 1/4" male NPT fitting to hook up to the regulator on your RV or travel trailer. This is going to make that connection, if you currently have a male inverted flare fitting and a female NPT.

Those obviously aren't going to go together, so this is going to be the part that you need to make that connection. It does have an internal back-check to prevent any sort of gas leaks out of the regulator inlet. That's a nice little safety feature there. It is a sturdy brass construction, so it's going to hold up well. You're not going to have to worry about any sort of rust or corrosion, anything like that. Overall, very simple product, but something that you might need to get your job done, so you can get everything hooked up.

That's going to complete our look at the propane adapter fitting from 1/4" female inverted flare, to 1/4" male NPT.

  • Propane Adapter Fitting - 1/4" NPT
It sounds like you have the Propane Adapter Fitting - 1/4" Female Inverted Flare x 1/4" Male NPT, # 37207-30045. This fitting lets you connect your propane cylinder to your regulator with an inverted flare pigtail. It also has an internal back-check that prevents gas from leaking out of the regulator inlet. The advantage of an inverted flare vs. NPT is that the inverted flare doesn't need tape or any kind of sealant. It's sealed well enough without adding anything. They're commonly...

  • Recommended Longer Propane Pigtail for Cargo Area with Limited Clearance
Thank you for the picture! It looks like a longer pigtail hose is going to allow you to turn the cylinder enough to connect to your regulator, so I recommend using something like the MB Sturgis # 100833-24, which is 24" long. I've also linked our entire selection of pigtail hoses that have 1/4" male inverted flares and Type 1 connectors. Using a longer pigtail like this should allow you to connect your Camco Propane Cylinder Gas Gauge and Leak Detector # CAM59023 to the regulator and allow...

  • Can You Use Fittings Without Backcheck On The Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Regulator
No, you would need to use a fitting with backcheck # 37207-30045 on your Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005 to prevent one tank from filling the other tank and potentially causing an overfill in one tank. The ones you have on there could be defective so I recommend changing them first and if not then the blockage could be the regulator itself and you'll need to replace it.

  • Adapter Hose Needed For A Winchester Model-Trailblazer PS-5000 Camp Stove
The fitting you have on your stove looks like it's a proprietary type fitting and I wouldn't be able to confirm exactly what it is, but it looks like it's threaded onto the supply line and could be removed and replaced with another fitting type that matches the thread pitch. The regulator has a female 1" - 20 fitting so you could also just use an adapter hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100555-72-MBS to connect to a larger propane tank.

  • Adapter for Connecting Propane Regulator to Pigtail

  • Hose Needed To Connect An Ozark Trail 2-Burner Camp Stove To Larger Propane Tank
The Ozark Trailer 2 Burner Camp Stove has a 1" - 20 fitting with a regulator built into it so you can use a hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - 6' # 100555-72-MBS or 12' # 100555-144-MBS to connect your stove to a propane tank. If you have a tank that has a different connection than a type-1 fitting then just send me a picture and I can look a compatible hose.

Although it isn't paired together in a kit, you can use the T-Fitting # 103537-MBS with the Quick-Disconnect Propane Hose # 100476-72-MBS for your application. This provides you with the quick-disconnect equivalent of the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Flow T-Fitting w/ Hose for POL Valve # 103608 that you referenced.

  • 2-Foot Hose to Connect a 100-LB LP Tank to a 3/4" Pipe
We have the hose to get you from the propane tank to your pipe. It's the Propane Hose - POL Pigtail x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare - 2', part # 37207-30635. This is 2 feet in length and will connect to the LP tank using a POL connection. I've linked to a video review of this hose for you to look at. From there, you will need to find an adapter locally to get the 1/4" inverted flare to your 3/4" pipe. Most hardware stores will have these kinds of adapters. If you're having trouble finding...

  • Adapter to Connect Ozark Trail Camping Stove to 20 Lb Propane Cylinder
Since your Ozark Trail two burner propane camping stove came with a Stansport regulator designed to take a disposable 1 lb cylinder, all you need is the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100555-72-MBS (6 foot long) . This will connect to the female 1 inch 20 disposable cylinder port on the end of your regulator, and to your 20 lb propane cylinder on the other end, with the Type 1 ACME nut at the other end. If you need a longer one, we also have a 12 foot long adapter hose with part # 100555-144...
