This is going to allow you to connect a small one pound disposable cylinder to a larger gas powered appliance, like a propane powered grill. So if you're barbecuing and you're running out of gas, you can easily switch over to your backup one pound disposable cylinder to make sure that you can finish cooking those burgers.We do have two different fittings here. The one is going to be our female POL fitting.
That's going to connect onto the hose coming from our unit, our appliance, like our grill that will connect in there. Then this other end is our female number 100, or it's sometimes called a one inch 20 or disposable cylinder port, that's what's going to connect into your one pound disposable cylinder there so you will be able to get that gas to flow through.Obviously, one pound isn't going to be a whole lot of use. So it should be used as like a reserve. But if you're in the situation where you need something like this, it would be good to have this on hand so that you can finish cooking and not have to worry about undercooked food. I just bought a Tohatsu 5hp propane outboard motor for my boat and wanted an adapter for my fuel line to run a 1lb propane canister from in case my 11lb main tank ran out while I was on the water. This adapter is absolutely perfect! Now I can keep the adapter and two 1lb propane bottles in my boat and can get an emergency 10+ miles out of them. Shipping was extremely fast and product was perfectly described. I'd highly recommend this adapter for connecting a 1lb propane bottle to a standard male propane tank fitting.
Just what I needed for hurricane preparation, have a camp stove with large propane tank fitting. I didn’t want to use a large tank within my home, now I can use small propane tanks.
