Today, we're going to take a look at the JR Products propane adapter fitting. It has the disposable cylinder port on one end and a quarter inch female NPT connector on the other end. Now, this fitting will let you attach your propane hose to a grill or other cylinder application. On this side is the male number 600 disposable cylinder port, also known as a one inch by 20 fitting. This will let you hook up a small appliance or propane tree. And on the other end is a quarter inch female NPT connector that connects to your propane hose.
This is a nice lead free brass construction. But that should do it for the review on the JR Products propane adapter fitting.

Well made. No problems.
Every experience I have with this company has been exceptional. I have purchased a variety of products over the years, all of them high quality. They even rate their products as they pertain to specific vehicles ( recommended brands offered). I also appreciate the videos they provide regarding the products such as trailer hitches.
Hard to find items, etrailer had them a ll.
This adapter did what it said, so I can't fault it or etrailer. But it did not solve my problem.
I have a normal propane camping stove that works with a propane bottle. I have an RV trailer that has built-in bulk propane and a propane outlet on the side for hooking up a propane stove. I needed this adapter to connect them. But the connection doesn't work - I'm told because the RV gas is already pressure regulated and my stove has its own non-replaceable regulator. So the pressure coming to the burners is too low to be useful.
I guess I have 3 choices -
--buy a new stove meant for this connection,
--do a complicated and expensive tap into the RV propane system before the regulator, or
--just keep using gas bottles for my propane stove.

Machining of this rather simple propane adapter fitting is of good quality, and it works fine. It's a somewhat special purpose fitting and not easy to find, so I appreciated that etrailer had it in stock.
