Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco quick connect kit for low pressure propane systems. Now this kit is going to let you connect and disconnect an appliance from your low pressure propane system. It does come with a plug to keep unwanted items out of the valve. Now the full flow plug is going to insert into the valve on this end right here. It's got that quick release fitting on this side. That way there's no need to screw fittings on and off every time.
Really nice design. The valve is going to have the handle right here that's going to let you shut off you propane supply so that's very simple to use. It says on and off right there. All you've got to do is rotate it. Really nice easy control. The 1/4" male end on the full flow plug connects to your appliance.
It is recommended to use 3 - 5 wraps of Teflon tape on this end when installing. Tape's not included. 1/4" female end on the valve connects to the propane system. This piece right here is going to measure about 2 3/4" long. You can see that there, nice compact design.
It's a brass construction which is highly resistant to rust and corrosion. It's going to last a long time. Just to show you how these fittings connect together again. This one right here would connect to your appliance. Goes in there.
Snaps in and it's held securely in place. To disconnect, pull down this collar, and then it releases. That's going to do it for today's look at the Camco quick connect kit for low pressure propane systems.

I did not know but this valve has an internal check valve which cuts off the gas when disconnected.
