Video Transcript for Camco Propane - Regulators - CAM59333 Review

Today we're gonna take a look at the Camco horizontal two stage propane regulator with the POL connector. Now this will mount inline between the supply and your motor home LP gas lines to provide regulated gas pressure. The propane regulator will maintain a constant gas pressure from your campers propane tank, it's a two stage which ensures a nice smooth consistent flow of gas, and it is a horizontal mount design in other words it will be mounted this way, you can see your vent right here would be facing towards the ground. The inlet right here has a male POL connector and the outlet on this one has a three-eighths inch female NPT connector. This does maintain a constant 11 inches of water column propane pressure, it is rated for 160,000 BTU per hour, and it is also CSA listed. That should do it for the review on the Camco horizontal two stage propane regulator with the POL connector.

Bought to use it on a 100 lb tank for Ventless Wall Heater in garage. Worked perfectly. Great communication from Order confirmation to delivery.

by:

I like the design of the regulator. Its similar to the old one. But with the black handle grip it allows me to hook up to any propane tank. With out the use of wrench. Makes life easier. Good product

by:

I have a small trailer I have been renovating. The original regulator was old and I replaced it and the supply hose about a year ago. This one looked closest to the one that was on there. It was a fairly simple install and it is easy to switch out tanks with the ferrule you can just tighten by hand. As always e-trailer is great. i love their videos.

  • Rate Of Consumption For Propane and the Camco Olympian Wave 3 Catalytic Safety Heater
The Camco Olympian Wave 3 Catalytic Safety Heater for Small RVs, # CAM57331 is adjustable from 1,600 to 3,000 BTUs to provide comfortable heating to approximately 130 sq. ft. One gallon of propane will provide about 91,500 BTUs and there are almost 24 gallons of propane in a 100 lb. bottler. Your question many variable to it that make it difficult to answer in an accurate way. However, please consider the following information. A BTU is a unit of measurement, much like a gallon or...

  • What Propane Regulator Do I Need to Connect 100 lb Tank to My Range/Stove and Tankless Water Heater

  • Does Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks CAM59005 Fit POL
Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks Item # CAM59005 uses a 1/4" SAE inverted flare for the inlet and a 3/8" NPT female for the outlet. To use it with POL fittings an adapter or hose would be needed. I have linked the fitting adapters we have below. We do have regulator # CAM59333 which does connect to a POL but it is not an automatic changeover type of regulator.

  • Adapter Fitting Needed To Connect A Regulator To A Propane Tank
Typically a POL fitting will connect to your RV's propane tank and RV regulators normally have a 1/4" NPT inlet so the Propane Tank Connector Fitting - Soft Nose POL x 1/4" Male NPT # 37207-30075 you were already looking at would be the correct adapter fitting. If you have a different fitting type on your regulator or propane tank and can't identify them then please send in some pictures and I can identify them for you. You are going to want to ensure that the vent on your regulator is...

  • What To Look For When Replacing Your Propane Regulator
Hi William, You have a dual-stage horizontal regulator like the Camco # CAM59323, but with this being a residential setup you'll need to check the fitting size and BTU rating in order to determine the correct replacement. There's a much higher demand for residential use compared to RV use so you'll likely need to get a replacement at your local hardware store to get the correct fitting size and BTU rating. The # CAM59323 has a 160,000 BTU rating and requires 1/4" MPT inlet connector and...

  • Regulator for 100 lb Tank and Fireplace
The Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59333 should do well for you and is rated for 160,000 Btu per hour. This is for an ASME tank; the MB Sturgis 2-Stage Regulator # 108220 will be what you want if you have a DOT tank. I have added links to video reviews of both regulators for you to take a look at.

  • Replacement Marshall 290 Propane Regulator
The Marshall 290 model regulator is a standard vertical 2-stage regulator, unlike the horizontal Marshall 260 and Camco # CAM59333 that you mentioned. This means to replace your Marshal 290 you will want the Camco Vertical 2-Stage Regulator # CAM59313 instead. In terms of function and application this is essentially a direct replacement. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.

  • Recommendation For Propane Regulator And Propane Hose For 100 Gallon Propane Tank
What you need will depend on what you have. For a regulator, I recommend the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Regulator, Item # CAM59333, or the Camco Vertical 2-Stage Regulator, Item # CAM59313. If your 100 gallon tank is an ASME that is generally installed in a motorhome then you will need a horizontal regulator like Item # CAM59333. If the tank is not installed in a motorhome then you will likely need a vertical regulator like Item # CAM59313. Both regulators maintain a constant 11 inch w.c....
