can I use this regulator to connect a Samsung gas range which is about 12 feet in a house?

As long as your tank has the threads on the inside of its connector the Camco regulator # CAM59333 works for you. Also, make sure the hose going out of the regulator is a 3/8 inch MPT. The 12 feet isn't an issue.

Keep in mind the POL connector on this regulator is a left hand thread.

The main vent on second regulator is the one that needs to face down on the the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator part #CAM59333. The small pin hole on the first regulator can face up, it's just a pressure relief valve.
