Today we're going to be taking a lot at part number CAM59323. This is the Camco horizontal two stage propane regulator. This regulator is going to maintain a constant gas pressure from your camper's propane tank. Two stages are going to ensure a smooth, consistent flow of gas. This is a horizontal mount. We can tell that because the vent is here on the bottom, and your vent is always designed to be facing downward to prevent anything from getting inside. The inlet is going to feature a quarter inch NPT connector that's a simple female pipe thread.
The outlet is going to feature a three eighth inch NPT connector, again, female pipe thread. The unit is going to maintain a constant eleven inch water column propane pressure. This is rated for a hundred and sixty thousand BTU per hour. It is CSA listed. Keep in mind, again, that the vent opening should always face downward, and when installing this using a mounting bracket, if the existing holes don't align with the regulator, you can use the provided mounting template. That's going to be on the back side of the packaging, and you can use that to drill new holes, and then attach the regulator with the screws included in the package. Well, this is my second Camco regulator in just less than a year. I've heard reports of them being not so great, and mine stopped working (no gas gets through at all) after about 11 mos of (of course) mostly doing nothing but sitting on my trailer.
I bought the Marshall Excelsior regulator instead, and we'll see how it holds up. It looks almost exactly like the Camco, like it could be made from the same castings! So maybe it will have the same life :( Only time will tell.
Well, it still works...make sure you get the plastic cap. It would have been nice if I would have seen it when I ordered it, so I didn’t have to make two orders, and pay shipping twice.,,

I had searched all over the internet for this item and etrailer.com had what I was looking for at a great price. Shipping was fast too, and it came in its original packaging. I would do business with them again.
The regulator failed after 3 months of use. It was in a dry enclosed propane locker and was properly installed. Do not buy this product.
I ordered this regulator and was very pleased with prompt shipping and was exactly as described in add.Good product,bolted right in on my pop-up and was on my way camping with heat for winter again.
Works great on the Brew stand I made for my son. This regulator supply's the lp gas to the three banjo burners very evenly even when the tank is almost empty.
Product failed after 6 months and had to order a higher quality product. I would not recomend this product. Was a waste of money and horrible quality. Left me freezing cold and with out a refrigerator or stove for over two months waiting for back order of higher quality product

bought 2 stage regulator as back up for our current unit. have not installed-but price and shipping met expectations. saw same unit in a sticks & bricks store at nearly double the price.
I have a 1979 VW “AdventureWagen” put together in Northern California. The old propane system had failed. I installed this part and now my stove works!
I like this one better than the single stage. This regulator seems to last long than the single stage.
Service and product choice is great at etrailer. We usually go there first to check product availabity and haven't been disappointed.
