Note: This jack set is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use these jacks to lift your trailer or RV. Doing so will exceed the capacity of the jacks.

If you are looking for a safe, durable, and dependable option for stabilizing your trailer, these scissor jacks are a safe bet. The mounting pattern and overall dimensions of each jack are industry standard, which means that they should easily bolt onto your trailer in place of your original jacks. And each jack is constructed from powder coated steel to ensure that it will resist rust and corrosion and hold up well to the elements. In addition, the installation hardware and crank are included with the set so you are ready for manual operation right out of the box.

I upgraded my '98 sportsmen from tripod stands to these scissor jacks.Setting up is so much easier now. The jacks are very sturdy, fairly priced and were easy to install.

I still love setting up my camper with these. Once a year I wash them down and lubricate with dry lubricant

Great jacks for a big travel trailer

by:

Amazing how well organized this company is. The videos and personal service is spot on. Tracking your order is very good as well.

by:

We received our jacks quickly and they were easy to install. They work great and stabilize the back end of our 5th wheel trailer. Great heavy duty product.
Thank you!

by:

These are great replacement jacks

by:

Nice quality jack. I welded these on my trailer. They are much stronger then what came on it. They don’t sway or creak.

by:

Came quick no damage to box or content. Looking forward to putting them on the trailer to replace the ones I bent when trailer shifted on me. I well use etrailer when I need something for the trailer.

by:

We tore off our rear jacks trying to back our 5th wheel up on a less than desirable pad on a camping trip, I ordered the scissor jacks while we were camping and they were actually delivered at our house before we made it back home. We bought the heavy jacks, they’re actually better than the original jacks I 100 percent recommend

by:

Both items came and arrived very quickly. I will be installing them this weekend.

by:

Received quickly!! They do a great job replacing the stabilizer arms.

by:

Excellent replacement stabilizers. All the mounting holes aligned perfectly.

by:

Have used these jacks for a season and have ran them up and down many times across several states. They are over double the strength of the original ones and should serve well for many years. When they were installed most of the bolt holes lined up with the originals but I did install 3/8s bolts instead of the 5/16 used by the factory. Even with this update of bilts the install went very smooth.

Good stable jacks. After one year they are performing very well.

by:

They had the sizzor jacks I needed for my camper when my brother and I took it over a railroad track with wrong hitch and bent mine up . Got it fixed up and doing good now for the last year thanks etrailer.com you came through for me .

by:

Overall the jacks work great.. They were installed on an old Dutchman Travel Trailer.. Used the screws supplied with the jacks.. They were delivered with one jack's mounting bracket bent. A heavy hammer and concrete straightened it out.

by:

This was a great upgrade to the standard jacks. They have held up well and show very little sign of use. Also very easy to install.

by:

These are absolutely garbage. The fitment was off just enough that I had to fabricate new brackets. I understand they are made in China, but it truly looks like a child did the welds on one of the jacks. A weld on the inside scrapes everytime you make a revolution to raise or lower it. It was difficult to lower the first time and now it doesn't want to close all the way without some persuasion. If there was any quality testing done it should have been thrown in a scrap pile. I hope i just got a bad one but nothing about them says quality and i would not buy them again.

by:

My other stabilizers didn’t hold the trailer stable . With these Lipper stabilizers which has a 5000 lb rating each , my trailer is a lot more stable. They fit perfectly to the original brackets and bolt up was easy. I will recommend this Lipper stabilizers to everyone. Thanks again.

by:

I received the stabilizers and found them to be perfect for the rear end of our class C motorhome. Super easy to mount with 4 holes to drill in the frame. I no longer shake the motorhome when I climb the stairs, which fact has made my wife a happy camper. Excellent price and excellent product that will make this travel season even nicer than prior seasons.

by:

Product was shipped and delivered very quickly. Product was also a very high quality product. Better than the description. These stabilizer jacks are much sturdier than what came with the RV. A cinch to install. We will shop here again!

by:

Had these one for a year they definitely are stronger compared to the factory ones. But could still use some improvements

by:

I'm looking forward to a stable trailer n these jacks will get me just that. Very well made. Good customer service too.

by:

The scissor stabilizer jack that I purchased are out standing..
Thank

by:

This is an excellent product. They are twice as heavy duty as the stock ones I replaced. You can really feel the difference inside the camper. In the spring I plan to replace the back ones. My order arrived promptly from eTrailer.

by:

Excellent product! Stronger than the stock stabilizer jacks. Extremely easy to install. Super fast delivery of goods. Ordered Sunday and here Tuesday. I may buy 2 more and replace the rear!

by:

They were easy to install. Had to use my brackets because they were welded to the RV frame, but I used the new hardware. These should last me a good while. Fast fast shipping after I ordered them. Haven’t been let down by Etrailer in all the times I have done business.

  • Recommended Front Stabilizers for 2020 Grand Design Transcend 32BHS
For your 2020 Grand Design Transcend 32BHS, I recommend the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors, # UF39-941705. This electric stabilizer spans the width of your rig for maximum support and has dual, 12V motors that function independently for simple leveling. The extra-large footplates help to minimize sinking and tilting and there is a hand crank included in case the battery power is too low. For the best stability, don't overlook the benefits of a great set...

  • Can You Replace the Threaded Rod in the RV Scissor Jacks
There are no replacement parts for the trailer scissor jacks, if they are damaged such as the rod being bent then you will simply need to replace the jack for which we have the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jack part # LC285325 or part # LC285326 for the pair. The mounting pattern is pretty standard so they should be an easy bolt-on swap for most applications.

  • Will the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks Work On a Car Hauler Trailer
The Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks part # LC285326 will work well on pretty much any trailer. The main thing you will need to be aware of to verify fit is lift which for this particular model is 24". If you are within both the length and weight requirements then yes, I see no reason it would not work on a car hauler.

  • Recommended Replacement for a Domar Scissor Jack
I looked up the G-HDSJ-24 jack you're mentioning and it comes back to a scissor jack with a 7.5K capacity. Since we do not carry the Domar brand we are not going to have a direct replacement, however the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle - 24" Lift # LC285326 would work great. This part contains two jacks with a 24" lift height, a 10,000-lbs capacity, and only measures 4-1/4" when collapsed.

The Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # LC285326 are only stabilizer jacks that should not be used to try and lift or lower your 2014 K-Z Durango 336RE. For lifting the front for connecting and disconnecting the camper there are a couple options to help you with that. The jacks will have a manual override on the top of the jack. You will remove the access cap and use a ratchet to move the jacks. You can also disconnect the wiring on the jack and operate it remotely by powering the jack...

  • Can Scissor Jack of Trailer be Used to Change Tire
Scissor jacks are only designed to be used as a way to stabilize a camper to minimize movement when you are parked and camping. They don't have the strength to support the full weight of a camper to change a spare and honestly it would be pretty dangerous to even attempt to do so. Especially if the trailer has a 9,000 lb GVWR. Instead a bottle jack like the part # ALL647501 would be a great option to keep with in the event of a blow out.

Scissor jacks are only meant to stabilize and aren't designed or meant to lift or level out your camper so they wouldn't be effective in that regard.
