Today we're going to review part number YR500YW-8P. This is a Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller. This is a 3-inch wide wobble roller that will replace a worn out roller on your boat trailers roller bunk. This roller is made out of a thermal plastic rubber which will outlast your traditional rubber rollers. And it has a non-marking, non-scratching material and the roller is ribbed and the ribbing will add to traction for when the hull of your boat is slick or slimy, it'll help the boat go up onto the rollers. This material is softer and more pliant than a polyurethane roller.
This product is made in the USA. We're going to do a few measurements on it. So we measure its 3 inches. The diameter of this roller is 5 inches and this is designed to fit on a roller bunk that uses a 1-inch diameter shaft. And that should do it for part number YR500YW-8P.

We replaced all of the Wobble Rollers on our trailer. The yellow plastic doesn't mark up the bottom of the boat like the original black rubber ones did. The hub of the Yates rollers is a little longer that the original rollers so instead of one washer one each side, only a single washer would fit.

This roller was an excellent replacement for the worn rubber rollers on my Shoreline Trailer. My 21' Chris Craft was difficult to get on and off the trailer because the old rollers were being crushed under the weight of the boat. After replacing the first 16 rollers my boat rolled easily on and off the rear section of the trailer. So needless to say I am ordering 16 more for the front section. The slightly larger diameter seems to help also. I am extremely pleased with this roller and highly recommend it for anyone experiencing similar issues. Also they look great.

Awesome rollers, I did use carter keys instead of fasteners furnished with rollers. The sound the rollers make when boat rolling off trailer reminds me of Swiss watch. They look sharp and function just perfect.

Order delivered on time. Wobble rollers were replacements and are still in service one year later. They replaced black rollers and now no more black marks on the hull.

Won't install till spring but I'm sure they'll work. Shipping was secure and quantity correct.
These will be replacing the old black rubber rollers on my trailer. Ordered 32 of them and they arrived undamaged and in time.

Good product. Warning: Be sure to place washers on either side of the rollers. The old rollers had a steel hub and did not need the washers. The black core of these plastic ones will push right out if no washer is installed to hold them in place. I lost one before realizing this.

This will make loading and launching much easier with not a mark left on the boat. Plus my old rollers are 36 years old and are well over due for a replacement.

I don't have anything with the exact dimensions you mentioned, but the Yates # YR530R-8P in heavy duty rubber or the # YR500YW-8P in TPR (thermo plasticized rubber) come very close. Both rollers measure in at 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches wide. Clips like part # CE10981 are crimped on the ends of the shaft to keep the roller in place. We don't carry a washer compatible with a 1 inch diameter shaft.

The wobble rollers are still performing as expected. The bottom of our white fiberglass boat stays a lot whiter.
